[The sun is setting, the city's lights are slowly twinkling on as the natural light starts to vanish. Should one be out for a lovely stroll this evening they'll find an unconscious man laying near the coral. He's soaking wet as everyone else who arrives in the city. He's wearing chainmail, a yellow tunic, tan pants, and his yellow hat is just a few feet from him. Poor guy seems pretty out of it. Care to help him out?]

[After Zelos's comment about meddling, Zelda is inclined to just let the newcomers figure things out for themselves. And yet... that's a Hylian, isn't it? And he's unconscious.

Dammit.

She kneels next to Pipit and takes his hand, placing it on the coral.]

[Once his hand touches the coral, the brunette's eyes snap open and he looks up. He stares at the blond woman holding his wrist for a moment, his eyes refocusing on her face.]

...Zelda? Is that you? [He uses his freehand to push himself up and blinks a few times before looking at her again.]

[Oh, dear, he knows her. She smiles politely and nods.]

I am Zelda, yes... though perhaps not the one that you know. It's difficult to say. This place pulls people from different times and worlds. We may yet meet in my future, or you might have known me in another life.

[The Hylian looks around and realizes his surroundings.]

This isn't Skyloft.

[Ammy spots him! She trots right over, sniffing him and shoving her cold nose in his ear.

That ought to work for an awakening, right?]

[That does it. He instantly snaps away and pulls away from that cold nose!]

W-Whoa! Why is there a dog in my hou- [He notices his wet and takes in his surroundings.]

...Where am I?

Arf arf!

[Ammy barks, then sits down, letting Pipit go through the paces of "oh god where am I what is this place" etc.]

[The Hylian sits up and looks around. This is definitely not Skyloft. No-siree.]

Am...I on the surface? [He asks aloud to himself and looks back to the dog.]

[Ky pauses near him, waiting for him to wake on his own. From the dampness he's surely new or rather lost, and it wouldn't do for him to awaken with no one around to inform him what the situation is. Still, Ky doesn't wish to awaken him unless he doesn't wake on his own in the near future.]

[It takes a few minutes before the Hylian groans and starts to move. He opens his eyes and pushes himself up onto his hands and knees.]

Did...I fall of my Loftwing? [He looks up at spots Ky, blinking a few times to make sure he isn't seeing things.]

Who are you?

You're in Vatheon. A loftwing is probably not how you got here.

Um...Nice to meet you. I'm Pipit. Can you tell me where exactly this...Vatheon place is?

[...Uh. That is a very familiar-shaped hat.]

[Link scoops it up, peering at it thoughtfully, before taking note of the person it apparently belongs to. Another Hylian?]

[Kneeling beside him, he shakes his shoulder once.] Hey! Are you okay?

[That voice. Pipit knows that voice. The brunette opens his eyes and looks up. He smiles and quickly gets up to his knees.]

Link! It's been a while.

[He looks himself over and then takes a look at their surroundings.] Where are we?

Huh? [Yeah, that's a rather perplexed look you're getting, Pipit. With closer inspection, he might notice that this Link's hair is parted down the middle, and he's wearing a green t-shirt and tan pants instead of the expected knight academy uniform.]

[Wait, timelines. The other Link here looked pretty similar to him, didn't he?] Um... sorry. I don't think I'm the Link you know... we're in a place called Vatheon.

...Huh?

[Now it's time for Pipit to be confused. Why are you dressed differently Link? And why are you saying weird things?]

Vatheon? Is that the name of some place on the surface? That's where we are, right?

[ Sophie was out for a stroll, certainly, but one with a goal. Every day like clockwork she came to this spot - it seemed she always saw someone arrive here. Like now! Still it wasn't a very good place to sleep, so she padded over towards the Skyloftian, curiously s t a r i n g. ]

[ Hey Pipit - ever have that feeling you were being watched while you were a sleep? It's not creepy when a little girl does it, right? ]

[Pipit really isn't sure about that feelings. He feels heavy and slowly opens his eyes. He slowly pushes himself up into a sitting position and looks up, searching for that source of that weight. And it's a small purple haired girl?]

Um...hello?

[ Oh good, he's alive! Sophie crouches so Pipit doesn't have to look up and get a cramp in his neck. ]

Hello. Are you hurt?

[That particular shade of yellow, pointy ears, and gravity defying bangs... The bag of groceries drops from Link's arms and he rushes over to the prone form, concern written all over his features. There doesn't appear to be any blood, so he's not hurt at least.]

Pipit! Come on, wake up...

[The blonde gives the knight's shoulders a shake, trying to rouse him.]

[The brunette groans when his shoulders are shaken. He slowly opens his eyes and looks up. Now that is a face he has not seen in quite some time.]

Link? [He pushes himself up off the ground, shivering as he notices the cold.]

Where am I? Is this the surface? [He looks around. Yeah, this was not Skyloft.]

[Link grabs a towel from a stack that had been set out by the greeters earlier in the day, passing it to his fellow knight with a relieved grin.]

Nope, we're in a place called Vatheon. I got here about, what... a month ago?

[He gestures at the odd, domed sky above, before glancing back at his friend.]

Are you feeling okay, Pipit?

How did I miss this? FAIL! Sorry!

[Sola runs right over when he sees the tunic, expecting to find another Link to be the one wearing it. He's abandoned his fear after the long talks with the Link from his time and now welcomes the sight of anyone from Hyrule here in the bubble. More friends, right?

Only he's surprised to find not the familiar fairer reflection of his own face but instead one with freckles and tanned skin. He almost looks like Mido if it wasn't for the brown hair.

Leaning over, Sola gives the other Hylian a shake.]

Hey, wake up!

[Pipit groans as he starts to stir. He opens his eyes and looks up. At first he is sure it's Link that's above him but his mind quickly snaps awake when he notices the skin color, the hair, the eyes. He sits up a bit too quickly as he wobbles from the sudden dizzy spell.]

Oh...who are you?

I'm Sola! Who are you? How come you're dressed like Link but yellow?

[He may look like a teenager but his tone is childish. Those slightly glowing red eyes of his might have been intimidating if he wasn't tilting his head at Pipit curiously waiting for an answer.]
