✖ marks the spot
Who: Motochika Chōsokabe & YOU
Where: ANYWHERE IN THE BUBBLE
When: around the daytime
Style: either works- I'll match what you've got!
Status: OPEN OPEN OPEN
[Don't mind that guttural snarl when you walk around today.
No, really.
You should instead be minding the flaming anchor that's perhaps soaring a little too close for comfort. Yes, it's flying, don't question it-
After all, it's landing just a few feet away as a very, very perturbed looking pirate is landing on his feet (remarkably steady). The scowl he's wearing doesn't seem like anything you want to mess with.]
When I find the bastards in charge o' this place-
[A distinct growl before he whistles sharply, a parrot coming down to perch on his shoulder with an answering caw. He scoffs angrily before glaring at whoever might be nearby without even realizing he's doing it-
Yeah.
Motochika's back.]

It's baffling.
Either way, that is where he is when he hears a rather angry voice, and while it's too far away to hear the words, he looks up, standing from where he was working and tucking his hands into his pockets as he steps out to see--
And he stares. Blinking does nothing, however; Motochika is still there.
And he almost doesn't seem to realize that he's speaking--]
Aniki...?

[He barks out immediately, annoyed being his default state of being at this very moment. Of course, the address doesn't make much different to him. Even if he saw one of his bros, he'd-
...
He caught himself half a second after he turned, scowl melting away into a look of contemplation after his head finally catches up to the situation.
... another scoff and he plants his anchor into the ground, concrete be damned. There's still some rage left in his veins, but he only succeeds in looking vaguely annoyed now.
At least when he speaks again, his voice is remarkably even.]
Where the hell ya been, kid?
no subject
...Was this for real? He finds it hard to believe what his eyes are telling him, somehow.
He's not used to people coming back.]
...Here?
[He tilts his head, contemplative--
But his own tone is remarkably even, because despite everything that has happened, he's calm again.]
Yes, I've been here. Did you just get back...?

Attacking them will do you no good.

But it's too bad because she's not quite there, so his temper will rage on for a while longer.
So he'll be meeting her gaze with the same glare.]

Are you new here, too?
[Usually, people this angry at "the people in charge," would be newcomers, right?]
no subject
Not even close.
[He huffs angrily, the disgruntled look not leaving his face even as he looks at this new kid, fairly unamused.]
Yer in for a wild ride here, runt.

The flying, flaming anchor thing is new, but other than a mildly surprised face, she doesn't quite question it. She does follow it to wear it lands though--
It may be new, but that voice she hears is not.
And neither is the parrot.]
H-Hey!
[Woah, it really is him. There's a mixture of disbelief, excitement...]
no subject
'cause seriously, who ruffled his feathers today.]

Whatever.
Motochika will just raise an eyebrow before smirking slightly, turning his gaze elsewhere.]
As if yer the one I'm targetin'.

At least, that's what Colette thought until she saw the flaming anchor fly by. She hasn't even noticed Motochika's glaring at her yet because Caramel decided he wanted to see what the anchor was and what it smelled like. Puppies trying to sniff flaming objects is much more important than a large man glaring.]
Caramel!
[Fiiiiiiiiiine. He stops in front of Motochika and barks, looking up at the man. She still hasn't looked up at Motochika though, focused on her puppy.]
no subject
There's some blinking because really, did this dog just come up and sniff him - what a brave thing - and is this girl really just ignoring him.
.... a sigh and it's like his rage just gives up. It's hard to be angry at people who have almost nothing to do with his vendetta.]
Ought to be more careful. 'specially yer mutt, too curious for its own good.

Oh.
OH. Excuse him while he stares --
And then matches that glare with one of his own.] Hmph, took you look enough.
[He didn't miss you, what are you talking about.]
REUNION TIME
The glare eases up ever so slightly but you can tell he's still vaguely annoyed at the situation.
But he's pretty glad to see Silver anyway.]
Sure know how to give crap greetings, kid.

She would gladly kill anyone who brought her here, but unfortunately she doesn't know who did that.]

Like it'd be smart to keep that sort of info to myself. They're just askin' for a rebellion.

I, too, would be quite cross at those despicable individuals, if only I knew who they were. I am not one of them, rest assured. I suggest you stop wasting your energy in this fruitless display.

[That gets a bit of a snarl as he glares over at this new face. Oddly enough, he's faced enough weird things in Vatheon that an alien duck just doesn't hold the same effect that it might've a year ago.]
And what the hell do ya suppose I should do?! Everyone's just gettin' so damn complacent!

Pirate!
[ What a great little coincidence that they just so happened to both be brought here. And when she means great, she means terrible. ]
no subject
Motochika will just frown a lot more openly now. Tsuruhime was there for a time before and he thought that when he left, she would at least hopefully be gone by the time he came back-]
Awww dammit, yer still here?!
