All shook up
Who: Sola and anyone really
Where: In the apartment in the morning, then in the park for the rest of the day
When: All day
Status: Open
[Link's arrival to the bubble had shaken Sola so much that he hadn't left the apartment since he'd screamed at the hero via SFC to leave him alone. Nothing bad had happened since however, so Sola decided that maybe this wasn't the end of everything and he could still live his life unbothered.
That's the plan, anyway.
It takes him all morning of puttering around the hive before he stubbornly, finally decides to head out and take a walk through the park, figuring he can just.. hide from Link if he shows up. Or something.
Truthfully he hasn't thought it through all that well but damnit, he needs fresh air. Or as fresh as it can get in a bubble under the ocean.]
((ooc: Sola can be tagged either during the morning at the apartment he shares with Signless and Psiioniic or for the rest of the day in the park. Please specify which in your subject! Thanks.))

Afternoon~
He saw the boy walking by himself and smiled. It had been a while since they'd talked and the kid looked like he could use a distraction.]
Sooooolaaaaaa~! [Wave wave wave]
Yay Johnny! \o/
Johnny! I haven't seen you in awhile, how are you?
<333
Hoping down from the branches he leaned against the trunk instead so they could be on the same level.]
Hey, Sola~ It's been....interesting. What about you? Just enjoying a walk in the park~?

[He shifts his weight uncomfortably, not really sure what to say. Before Link had showed up everything had been looking much brighter. He had Ion, Signless, Psii, and even sneaked out to see Izaya though he didn't quite enjoy keeping that from the Trolls. Still, he had been happy again, finally.
Then Link came and messed it all up just by existing. Granted, he hadn't come to try and kill him or anything, but his very presence in Vatheon made Sola jump at every out of place noise.]

Hey~ I might be senile, but I can tell when something's bothering someone.
What's wrong?

He kneeled down a bit so they were more even with each other.]
It's alright to be scared of bad people, Sola. In fact, it's the smartest thing; it's always better to be afraid of the people who could hurt you rather than being unafraid, just so long as you don't let it take over.
If it's someone you can avoid, you should do that. If not...well, confrontation is inevitable and all you can do is make sure you have the strength to defend yourself and those you care about. The only way he could win over you is if you give up and let him.
[The terror of Berry was still fresh in his mind as he talked. Yes, the incubus had been banished back home...but he knew this place had a penchant for those who were supposed to be dead. The thought that the demon could arrive here and threaten everything...it made him want to find whatever was threatening Sola and dispatch it himself.
This boy didn't deserve that kind of fear.]

You remember when I first got here and I was all confused about who I really was and everything? Well... he's who I thought I was supposed to be. I don't know if maybe I'm supposed to kill him first or... what, but I don't really want to..
no subject
Killing should only be a last resort action, I think. If he comes after you, you have every right to defend yourself.

[He remains quiet for a moment then forces a smile at Johnny. He simply doesn't want to think about it anymore, how tempted he was simply to stay in bed forever and not have to deal with any of this but how the trees and grass here in the park make him feel just a little calmer, a little more centered even if Link could burst out at any moment, wielding that stupid hammer Sola hated so much. His ribs ache to think of it.
No, he'd rather be distracted now. He'd rather hear about Johnny.]
So how come you're in the park today? I'm glad to see you.
no subject
I'm glad to see you too. I'm just getting some fresh air. I enjoy sitting in the sunlight the bubble offers.
no subject
Me too! It reminds me of home a little. What about you? You never told me what your world is like.
no subject
My home...it used to look like this all over the place but time made it's changes. Where I live now, places like these can only be found in reserves. At least in L.A.
There are other places in my world where this sight is more common.
[He just didn't get to see them very often. He'd been in America for over a century and the forests had, slowly, fallen.]

[Hyrule is a slow to change place. Horses are still the fastest mode of transport outside of magic and trees are only chopped down by the tens at most, not thousands, so it's no wonder that Sola is unable to wrap his head around the march of civilization's progress.]
no subject
No. That's just how humans are. They see how to improve their lives and take from their surroundings to do so.
[Not like Johnny, himself, didn't indulge in the various technological leaps and improvements, he just wished it didn't have to be at the expense of nature.]

[Hyrule's also not the most populated...]

[It was a sad fact. People never seemed to be happy with the space hey had.]
urk. Who is supposed to be Why up there. Damn typos >.x

[He just shrugs, dismissing the entire thing as the weirdness of humans.]
You should come go Hyrule when Zelda finds a way out of here. There's lots of trees! I've never seen them, but I remember them because I have some of Link's memories.
[He can't help but have faith in Zelda's ability even with how uncertain he is about how he feels otherwise. If anyone can help them all, it's her. He's a little sad he can't go, but there's the very real fear that he'll simply cease to exist if he ever leaves this place and he's come to terms with that. That doesn't mean Johnny can't enjoy himself, though.]

If I get the chance, perhaps I will. I'd love to see what your home looks like.
GO TO not come go wtf I need to proofread ><;
Maybe if you can come back you can tell me about it!
XD It's okay, I understood. <3
What do you mean by that? Don't you want to go home?
[Johnny didn't but he figured his was an unpopular opinion.]
