[One of Night's favorite past times was going up to the island to do a number of things: hunt small wildlife, toss around in flowers, and sunbathe. The normal life of a cat, really.

But after a few recent events he feels like maybe coming up to the beach, not just by himself, but with everyone else, could be a good thing. Who didn't love being out in the sun all day?

Which is just what he does, leaving most everyone in the Villa a message asking them to join him at the beach Friday morning. It isn't a party only because he has no idea what to do or bring for a party, but the intent was to have fun and relax.]

[So, Nel's kind of been hiding out on the island. Fewer weird people around, even if her brothers aren't here.

But she's curious, and so she's been sneaking around (and doing a pretty good job too). Rin's tail gets her attention and she sneaks out behind him, one hand stretched out curiously.

Then she grabs it.]

That sure is a shrieking half demon flailing about.]

[Nel lets go, shrieking loudly herself and hiding behind a tree. She's also crying now.

Good for you, Rin. You made a little girl cry.[]

[WHOOPS. He thought it was Vanitas or some one he could actually legitimately punch for doing that, not a child.

He spins around as soon as he hears the crying, hands flailing about as he tries to apologize.]

[Look how little she is, Rin. She might be five years old.

Nel's hiding behind a tree, not doing a very good job of keeping hidden, curled up on the ground and covering her head with her arms.]

[Rin kneels down in front of her, reaching a hand out in hopes that he can show he's not some scary he-beast hellbent on frightening little girls.]

Nel is sorry... [Nel also has a very substantial lisp. Somehow apologies are even more pathetic when you can't say "sorry" properly.]

[Not really because most people know better, but she's a kid, so he can forgive her for that.

He manages a smile here, small so he doesn't frighten her off with his sharp teeth]

Yes! [And she manages a smile. Her teeth are not sharp, in fact, most of them are missing. Which explains the lisp.] Nel is very tough, and kinda a massykist! [... Someone has a wider vocabulary than she probably should.]

[Even if she had said the word properly, Rin probably wouldn't have know what it was. So he just sort of... laughs nervously and nods.]

Hollows is all having masks [she puts a hand on her mask] and a hole through them and sometimes we is having an estigma like Nel's stripe. [and the hand on her mask goes to the bright pink stripe across her nose.]
