[True to Gamzee's word, on Sunday afternoon, there is indeed stuff on the beach fit for a beach party. Which, lets all be honest here, is something we should congratulate him on cause the chances of him forgetting a party he suggested in the first place are about 42.0% .

It is very clearly not a strictly organized beach party however. A variety of beach related things (seriously, the shopkeepers were hella awesome here and had gladly helped Gamzee bring up a whole load of shit he hadn't even known existed) lay strewn on the sand, everything from beach balls to small, colourful shovels for sand castle building (no buckets, wow, what was he, some kinda perv?) to various drink coolers stocked with faygo, faygo, some more faygo, and just for the people wanting something different, some faygo too.

Hope you like faygo.

Or brought your own drinks.

But seriously, anything you might need to have fun at a beach party is there (except, as mentioned, tiny plastic buckets, please this is a very culturally sensitive beach party) up to a few surf boards, even. So grab whatever you want, find a friend or make a new one, and have some fun.]

[With a swimsuit like that, it's not difficult to locate their host. Tifa's black-and-red one piece is nowhere near as eye-catching, but probably more complementary. She smiles at Gamzee, though she's not entirely sure he's noticed her.]

[This is how you master new skills, right? You just randomly take a shot at it and hopefully it all works out, yes? Which, to be fair, was how he had mastered his own juggling. It just had taken him a while.]

[No, usually there's someone to teach you. Tifa looks dubiously at the surf boards. She's not even the greatest swimmer, truth be told.]

Do you suppose it's anything like snowboarding?

What's that?

[Gamzee wasn't all too familiar with winter sports. The beach that he had grown up on would certainly get real cold during the dark seasons, but it never really snowed there. In fact, it wasn't until he had come here to Vatheon that he had experienced real snow.]

It's a winter sport, where you go down a snow-covered slope on a board.

They're not so big as these, but it looks like you stand on them the same way...

Well, sure. It's not that much different a concept from skiing, really.

Never mind. Anyway, this looks sort of like snowboarding, except on water.

[Yeah, this conversation had gotten pretty confusing pretty quick. Which, really it was just better to cut that shit out and focus on the stuff he did get.]

So, you wanna all give it a try with a bro? Even if it ain't all being no snow what we got us here.

[Tifa thinks it over a moment longer and then nods.]

All right, sure. The worst that can happen is we fall in and get soaked, right?

You got that right. Sometimes a motherfucker just gotta take a fuckin' shoot at something, yeah?

[Cause really, who even cares about looking like a fool. Gamzee looks like a fool every day of his life. And more often than not, he can get people to laugh through it which is its own kind of reward.

Crossing the short distance to the board, he hefts up two of them (he might be skinny, but he's got some strength in those arms of his) nodding towards the water then.]

Ready to take a motherfuckin' shooting at this?

[Tifa isn't generally too concerned about appearances, but it could be frustrating if neither of them manages to figure it out. If she just assumes all they're going to accomplish is a lot of splashing around, it should work out either way.

She follows him and reaches out to take one of the boards.]
