[ It's amazing what you can do with a little work. Suoh's looking just as good himself, much better than the first time anyone in Vatheon saw him. His wound's still there though the bandages take care of that well enough and they're barely visible under the white shirt he usually wears. His jacket is over all that and he looks perfectly at home leaning against the doorframe leading to the inner recesses of the bar. Why? Well, this is his home, after all. He's just come down from his room to see how opening night was going.

But he's responsible enough, silently pacing the bar as he watches patrons come and go like some quiet bouncer. Though he has to admit, this strange little city is starting to feel a lot more like home now that he has the bar here.

Though... you better not be sitting in his couch, man. ]

[ With each of the customers happy with a drink, Izumo takes a momentary break to walk over to chat with Mikoto. ]

Not bad for opening night, huh?

Aa. Best turnout we've had in a long while.

[ Which is pretty true. Yata wasn't lying when he said that people stayed out of the bar if they knew what was good for them. However, there was something else to be said about a bar full of patrons and their not being there because they were threatened bodily harm if they didn't show. ]

[ Izumo gives a sad smile. It's great that the people here don't have that fear of HOMRA like those back home do and that he can fill up a bar with new faces. But, it's still odd with only the three of them here. He kinda misses all those idiot boys and it's not quite the same without Anna perched on one of the high bar stools drinking a extra cherry cherry Coke.

He sighs slightly and pats Mikoto on the shoulder. ]

Glad you're here for it.

[ Yeah, it's not the same without the boys laughing it up at the bar. Specially without Anna sitting there. That's the strangest part. Her usual seat is empty which just punctuates it a bit more.

But he takes a drag at the feel of that hand on his shoulder. ]

Can't sleep with all the noise down here.

[ Smirking. ]

Just like old times then.

[ Izumo chuckles before disappearing behind the bar for a minute. When he returns, he's got a tumbler glass hosting Mikoto's usual drink of choice. ]

Here. Might as well join the party if you're gonna be up

Yeah.

[ Or rather, it would have been like old times if Totsuka was around. Then it would really be a party like they used to have back in school. But ah, there's a shot of brandy for him and he's grateful for it. ]

You're responsible for the hangover.

I could get ya a juice box instead?

[ He's got a smile on that's hinted with a bit of sadness. All this King business - Izumo can help but be bitter about what it's done to all of them; what it's done to him. But having Mikoto here despite what happened, and knowing Totsuka could appear here just as easily, alive and well... Well, saying he's grateful doesn't quite cover it. ]

[ Color him even more amused that Izumo would bring that up. Yeah, okay, so he missed his little juice boxes with the bendy straws.]

Heh. Maybe after the booze.
