Dinner Party - Sushi's on the Menu!

[Dualscar hadn't rushed to invite everyone immediately after he agreed to do this. He wanted to take his time, get preparations ready and invite Eridan and Feferi with enough time for them not to feel rushed, too. Probably none of that was really necessary, but he was holding a dinner and that's just a bit high class. It's not like he was just inviting them over to hang out and drink tea.

Cooking was a problem, but he enlisted the aid of a Japanese restaurant that happened to do take out, buying the items and then arranging them in serving bowls as if he'd made them himself. For all he actually knows, that's what servants really do. The sushi, at least, looks quite pretty, if he does say so himself.

Now everything is all ready, and he's waiting for his guests to arrive. He's even opened a bottle of wine for the occasion]

[ Naturally, as if on queue, Feferi is just moments away from knocking on the door, with Eridan in tow. She's put on the cutest dress she could find, and she seems... wait for it...

[Feferi is not the only one dressed fancy, seems both the little fish trolls got it in their head they gotta dress to impress. Eridan wearin himself a little a white button up dress shirt and a vest and tie and a pair of black slacks, he might have wanted to wear something of the more striped variety, but luckily for Kanaya's heart, Feferi wrangled him into the slacks. But either way, better to over dress than under dress!]

I don't think we're gonna be late, we're right on bloody time.

[Gosh he's excited too but don't be rushing him! Especially when the door is right up ahead, which he's making his way to and knocking on before Fef can. Yep, he just ganked door knocking duties! Eat that fef!]

[Since Dualscar is still fussing with the flowers, it's Signless that opens the door. He's just wearing his cloak and ridiculous awesome pants--someone is going to look out of place with all these flashy seadwellers--but he's beaming and clearly delighted to see them.]

Feferi! Eridan! So glad you're here!

[Going in for a hug in three... two... actually there is no countdown, he's just going to glomp on and try to get both of them in one fell swoop.]

[Dualscar quickly finishes with the flowers, and then emerges from the dining room to greet his guests. He's dressed more trollishly than Eridan and Feferi, in a black shirt with his symbol emblazoned across the chest in his colour, and the purple striped pants, which cover his metal leg. He's left off his armour, though.

He doesn't join the hugging, though, watching Signless glomp with bemusement]

Wwelcome to my hivve, Heiress, Eridan. Dinner's ready for you.

I'm glad we were invited! What's for dinner? It smells good!

[ Though after a moment, she slips away. There's no way Dualscar is getting out of getting hugs. Nope. ]

[Why's he gotta hug him??? Eridan's hardly as accepting to the hug as Feferi, somewhat freezing up as the older troll put his arms around them. Making no effort to reciprocate the gesture. Sorry Signless. He's almost jealous of Fef as she slips away, but he himself isn't sure how to get away without making his discomfort known, so he's just gonna let Signless let go of him first, it's easier that way, even if somewhat uncomfortable.]

Yeah, glad to be here, thanks for inwitin' us.

[He can tell you're not that down with hugging him, Eridan, so after Feferi slips away to hug Dualscar, Signless lets the younger purple seadweller go and holds him at arms length, admiring his outfit.]

You look very nice.

[If he's anything like his ancestor, he'll appreciate the compliment.]

[Said over his shoulder to Feferi.]

[Oh dear, the Heiress is coming for him. Dualscar startles a bit, his fins fanning as she hugs him, but he's had enough practice from Signless - and Feferi herself - that he puts his arms around Feferi with only the slightest hesitation. Besides, he's more than okay with a tyrian hugging him, even if she's a little on the young side.

He looks over her head to Eridan, though, and offers him a faint smile. It's a little crooked, and might look more like a smirk than anything else, but he means it as a smile.]

You'vve both embraced human fashions I see. Not a bad look on you, though. I'vve got sushi an cooked sea food dishes, and Signless brought the dessert.
