[Walking around in Vatheon? You may notice you suddenly have a companion you didn't before. Yes, if you look down, you'll see a white wolf pop trailing along at your heels, looking... lost? Or hungry. Maybe both of those things! It is a mystery, and you won't figure it out if you don't acknowledge him. He's going to follow you until you do, anyway.

He doesn't seem to mind that he's absolutely soaking wet.]

...You spot mama! Or, is it really mama? Her markings are so much simpler! And she's sort of dopily digging at the ground, seemingly for no real reason.

Okay not 'seemingly', it really had no reason at all.

BUT DETAILS.]

[Today has been so dumb. Like, so dumb. She's barely gotten any sleep at all, she's so annoyed for various reasons, and yeah. What else could make this day worse? Uhh... Well, while taking a walk down to the park, Heather suddenly has the feeling that she's being watched. Awesome.

She slows down after a few more minutes of this feeling and turns around. WHAT IS I---oh.

Oh... It's... a dog.

Heather doesn't like dogs at all. Even if it's a little dog and in a way it's kind of cute, it's still a dog and euugh.]

Go on, shoo.

[Denzel was exhausted he hadn't slept for days because of certain events and still couldn't sleep. He was mumbling indistinguishable to himself, with some crazy laughter when he just happened to notice something or someone at his heels]

Hello, you look famliar. Did you shrink?

[He might have spent some time wondering, pondering, double-taking to make sure... But that she's digging in the ground for no real reason pretty much confirms it. That dopey trait- it's downright familial.

There's no hesitation after that; no cute brush tricks, no attempts to sneak up on her, just the happiest barking he's uttered in some time as he dashes over, aiming to pounce on her. He's been through a pretty rough journey and darn it, he missed you. ;;]

He does bark happily upon being noticed, tail a-wagging (and probably flinging water on her in the process). He otherwise has no reaction, so it looks like "shoo" isn't going to work.]

[Ammy's surprised by the barking, and ker-pounced! She yelps in surprise, looking at the... little brush god? WHO IS THIS AND WHY DOES HE LOOK LIKE HER?]

Aroo?

[Eh? Shrink?

He'll spin around, checking to make sure that he really hasn't, before answering the question with a shake of his head. Nope, no shrinking here. Maybe you just got bigger?]

[Huh? Did he get it wrong, after all? But that can't be right, you definitely smell like mom....

You're just messing with him, right? Playing pretend?]

[Wolf, dog, same diff. They're still canine and making Heather nervous. She holds her hands out, making the "shoo"ing motion. C'mon you dumb dog get outta here >:C]

[Oh, are we playing? He lifts a paw and bats back at one of her hands, grinning a bit. He can do that too, see?]

[...Wait, mom? What? Her?

She looks around. UM. She doesn't remember having any puppies any time recently!

...But man your scent kind of makes her wonder. She can only wonder how much Issun would tease her for something like this.]

No... But I could swear that last time we met you where bigger. [Some crazy laughter] And how the heck did you get so wet?

[Reaching out to pet you]

[Okay, fishing in her pockets... looking... JERKY. YES! The perfect distraction.]

[Issun! He knows Issun!

[Wow, that is something Issun would say! That pervert. Can't live with him, can't live without him.

But whoa hey. So you really must be one of her children! Now she's just got to figure out when she had you.]

[Good! Because she's going to reel her hand back and chunk the piece of jerky as far down the road as she can!]

[Another shake of the head at this- no, they've definitely never met. Chibi wouldn't forget a crazy laugh like that one...

Not that he's going to stop you from petting him!]

Roo... [So you really don't remember, huh? He's pretty bummed about that...

Is this some sort of time travel thing? Are they in the past?]

[Puppy *^* Rinoa has been severely dog-deprieved, so she can't help her grin when she spots the little one wandering around.]

[She waits for a second until she knows there's a small line of distance between the both of them and then bolts for her apartment. SORRY PARK, WE LOVE YOU BUT WE'LL DO THIS ANOTHER DAY.]

[Ah, she finally noticed him! He grins once spotted, plodding over and raising a sopping wet paw in greeting.

She wouldn't happen to have a towel or anything, huh?]

[Sniff... He'll try.

...Names first, right? Issun said he was "Chibiterasu," the "little you." Though, most everyone just calls him whatever they want. Anything is fine, as long as it's not Mutt, or Squiddy. Or Dude.]
