[After he had invited Riku over for the night, Katsu ran around the apartment getting things ready. There were sandwiches in the fridge - one of the things he could make decently - and there was tea getting ready and snacks in the cupboard. He also had grabbed a bunch of different movies from the video store, not sure what Riku would like or if he even wanted to watch them at all.]

[... And then there was the thought of the bed. He had found some pillows and some blankets - he could sleep on the couch and Riku could take the bed, or the other way around. Deciding to just try to calm down, Katsu took a few minutes to flop on the couch and stare at the ceiling.]

[... And now it's about time for Riku to come, so he sits up and takes off his headphones, setting them over near his bed, and waits.]

[It honestly didn't take him too long after (attempting to) sneaking out of the house that, to be honest, had been taken over by the two women who deemed it fit to move in.]

[Overnight bag slung over his shoulder, he made his way down the path he'd memorized simply by walking it so often before. He's soon there, about to knock on the door when he realizes just how long it's been since he stayed at someone else's place. Probably about time he broke that trend, so... he knocks and wonders just how this will turn out.]

[Katsu bounds up when he feels Riku's energy and opens the door, and only then he realizes that he didn't actually knock. Whoops. Oh well.]

Come on in.

[He smiles, fighting to keep the blush away.]

[He kind of smelled Katu's coming to the door anyway, so it's all cool. Smile and enthusiasm met with a smirk and undisclosed humor, really. ...Okay, there was a chuckle in there too.]

Hello to you too, silly.

[...It's not very successful, but he does enter. Where does he put his bag, bf.]

I... yeah. Hi.

[... He leans in and pecks Riku on the cheek, before taking his bag and going to put it back in the bedroom.]

Are you hungry?

[That kiss on the cheek is returned, smirk not quite leaving his lips.]

A bit.

Do you want a sandwich or do you want some other kinds of snacks?

So long as it doesn't include seaweed, I'm fine with it.

[He grins.]

[He smirks, no- actually chuckles at that one. What, the one who'd asked about definitions of "messiah" couldn't help himself on a few occasions?]

Alright. [Well, he offered. Might as well look through the movies (yes, he sees them) while he's forced to wait... for now >_>;]

[There's a few action movies (including some sentai ones), a few horror ones, a few comedies, and a couple ones that look like they're cartoons for kids.]

[Katsu heads back out after a few minutes with two ham and cheese sandwiches.]

[The funny thing was, growing up the way he did, one automatically goes for either comedy or action. What does he end up going for? A mixture of both.

He looks up as Katsu enters the room again, a faint smirk crossing his lips.]

Interesting selection you have, here.

I thought so, too.

[He holds out the plate to Riku.]

There's not a lot to do when I'm not on patrol, so I ended up getting a bunch out of the store...

[He takes it, moving over so there's room for the two of them on the couch.]

I know what you mean. Lately, I've just been training with friends when I'm not on duty.

[...More like teaching, but, he didn't mind. There's a faint smirk at the idea.] It's kind of funny. I actually recognize a couple from my world, here.

We should train together some time.

[He perks up a bit more.]

Oh? Which ones?

Sounds like an idea.

[A chuckle, and he holds one of the comedy videos up.] This is one of them.

[Do you want to hear the story of how long it took his dad to learn how to use the DVD player.]

[Probably about as long as it took his dad. Even with Naoya around.]

Oh, neat. Do you wanna watch that one, then? Or do you want to see something new?

[... He'll lean against Riku a little, though. Shush you're a good pillow.]

[It's official: Dads are completely clueless with electronics.]

I'm always up for something new. [Besides, they can always watch it later. Not like they'll be going anywhere any time soon- ...Why is he always the pillow.] Your pick.

[Because they'll be watching this one next if they don't fall asleep. XD]

[Because he's comfy with all that floofy hair. But Katsu gets up for a moment and puts in one of the cartoons.]

[... The lion on the screen may look like a suspicious knockoff of someone you might know, Riku -]

[..There is a deadpan expression at the lion on the screen. He doesn't know him well, really- only that Sora had tried summoning said lion to his aide when they were fighting before he was completely possessed.

Really, Vatheon. Really?]

[... He pokes Riku's cheek.]

Something wrong?

...No, not really. It's just I feel like I've seen this somewhere before.

[huh. :| now he's curious...]
