[There were two things Eridan notices when he gets out of bed. 1) it must be time for another curse, because 2) there sure is a fucking thought bubble floating over head. Goddamnit, since when did curses repeat themselves? Were the scientist low on the idea trough? Or did they think it hilarious to pry into the minds of everyone here? Either which way, this wasn't exactly a curse Eridan enjoyed all too much last time. Though, there certainly was more at risk then than now.]

[It still sucks. Either way, he leaves his respiteblock, in search of Karkat, simultaneously wondering if this is the brightest of ideas, because he knows of what he thinks about when looking for Karkat and from what he can tell, while the last time his thought bubble did the whole words thing, this one seems to be along the lines of images, which CERTAINLY is more telling.]

[Regardless of this, he's at Karkat's respiteblock door, knocking idly. He hasn't even gone to make himself pretty yet! Karkat's more important right now, or maybe bitching about this curse is.]

Hey, Kar? You in there?

[God, maybe he can just hide it like Karkat did before. Either way, he certainly hopes that Karkat doesn't come out, or at least upon him if he isn't in his room, at this exact moment, because his usual stream of Karkat-thought is going on, which includes images of first Karkat himself, with a red as fuck background, probably more so concerning with his flushed feelings than Karkat's actual blood color, but then it goes on to be Karkat's ass--always dat ass ok. Before going to the idea of, huh sure would be nice to give Karkat a smooch this morning, which leads to the imagery of Eridan and Karkat kissing, before his thoughts go back to something along the lines of Karkat having his own thought bubble and Eridan creeping on those thoughts, all with proper imagery of the both of them.]

[For all the shenanigans Karkat may be invested in with his own thought bubble, Eridan's is the least of his worries. The shower did its part in at least calming him down, and styling his hair is therapeutic in its own right. So when he finally emerges from the bathroom, just in time to hear that in stereo FUCK, he's not nearly as irritated as he was. But now curiosity is striking him, because last he checked? Karkat couldn't exactly do that with his voice...]

[So, being dressed in nothing but a towel, what does Eridan do? He's on his way to investigate! Once he finds Kar, he does little to hide his own bubble, let alone himself. Though, his bubble doesn't give anything too telling away, just an image of Karkat with a purple question mark behind it. He places his hands on his hips, staring first at the bubble, then at Karkat.]

What's the matter? You got the damn thing cowered.

[Staring. Just staring. His thought bubble? Completely blank for a good second or two, because, what was that even? But after those few moments he just sort of smirks. You are simply too adorable, don't mind how his thought bubble is nothing but an emphasis on how cute Karkat looks blushing. Look at yourself, Karkat, you are adorable.]

What always catches you off guard, Kar?

[He knows damn well what does, but that doesn't mean he can't tease. Don't mind how his bubble is definitely making a copy of himself in a towel as he thinks of the answer for a moment. But also, he sees the problem now. Karkat's bubble is an audio one, seems like he's straight out of luck this week, and in a way? This kinda is a small victory on Eridan's part.]

Pfuhh. Fuck. Shut your word tube or I will forcibly jam this whole thought bubble down it until you are shitting out the contents of my brain. This stupid thing is trolling me, I know it. Before it was text like it's damn well supposed to be--[He glares at it.]--but as soon as I got the last piece of tape on, it switched to audio announcements of every thought through my head.

And this is embarrassing enough without your input.
