The elevator finally came to a stop after it's long journey. The doors opened, releasing a single passenger. The glowing troll had arrived just in time to see the last of the sun dip away. Oh well. Karkat should be here to meet her shortly, and Feferi would be here soon as well, along with who knows who else.

It seems you persist in showing up unexpectedly, Vriska.

Yeah, I'm good at that. [She brushes something off of her sleeve. She still looks a little under the weather, but she's ignoring her own health very well.]

Going to see Vantas?

That would be the plan, yes. He should be here any moment.

[Looks her over quickly. Obviously she's being affected by the curse, but if she's going to ignore it Kanaya won't stop her. She knows Vriska too well for that.]

I take it you won't be sticking around?

Nope! I got my own thing going on right now! Waiting around up here is soooooooo pointless!

[She shrugs. Looks like Kanaya was going to be odd around her, just as she figured. Vriska wasn't sure how she felt on the whole situation just yet. Not everyone knew she was dead back home.]

Maybe we could catch up later then. Whenever you're done with your thing, or after this has all blown over. I really don't know what I'll be doing but you could always call me over these devices or something...

[She was being odd. How could she not? So much had happened since they last talked face to face, even if she had not died things would have been pretty awkward... And here she is, face to face after all that, and she's going off on some dangerous trip for no other reason than boredom. It would take some time before things between them were anything like normal again, and right now, here in this weird place, Kanaya didn't feel up to the effort of pretending that this wasn't all getting to her.]

[She shifted her posture a little, feeling the awkwardness between them. It made her both anxious and annoyed and she didn't know how to fix that.]

Yeah... Well it's good to see that stupid clown didn't do you in or anything! That would have been a waste.

[How do you respond to something like this? "Hey, glad to see you haven't been stabbed yet?"]

Yeah.

[Nothing but awkward silence]

I suppose you should go... If you stay here much longer you'll have to explain to Karkat where you're going. I doubt he'll be pleased with you taking another reckless charge into harms way.

[And yet Kanaya is doing nothing to stop her...]

Oh- yeah! Yeah, no that would be a bitch to deal with for sure! [Wow, could she sound any more mechanic? She would be lying to herself if she said she preferred Kanaya to keep her nose completely out of her business but...

Bluh!!!!!!!! Vriska moves past her to step onto the elevator and flicks her a hand wave.] Have fun up here~.
