Who: Shizuo and Vegeta
Where: The amusement park
When: Saturday, afternoon.
Style: Action

[Shizuo hadn't gone back to Zelda's. He was probably never going back again. It was now very clear to him that he only led Zelda into dangerous situations. Izaya had hurt her in the best way he knew how.
It never for a moment occurred to him that Izaya intended anything otherwise.
He chased Izaya around until he just couldn't anymore, until everything crumbled around him and Shizuo just stopped. Then he lost it. Years of slowly-built control that he finally had been able to glimpse in a few short moments with Izaya had been destroyed. He tore up lampposts, signs, vending machines - anything he could get his hands on, until finally, Shizuo sat down amidst his mess.
He blamed himself. He blamed Izaya. He hated Izaya, but in a strange way. Not like he used to hate Izaya, but in a way that was painful and unsettling. Every time Shizuo thought back to their tender moments he felt sick. He wanted to cut his heart out. Literally.
What was left of it.
Shizuo spent the night in an unoccupied home. He was vaguely aware that he was dirty and that there were little blood splatters on his clothing, but he did nothing to take care of these facts. He slept fitfully and had nightmares.
The next day, he wandered around aimlessly. Desperately wanting to stay away from people, Shizuo ventured to the abandoned amusement park. And stumbled upon Vegeta.
Izaya had wanted to protect Shizuo - or so he had said - and that's why he told Vegeta to leave him alone. But Izaya himself had destroyed Shizuo, so that didn't matter anymore. Shizuo had been torn open, made vulnerable, and Izaya had taken advantage of that.
Love. Izaya had said love, once. But how could someone who loved him want to destroy everything that mattered to him?
Shizuo was filled with too many conflicting emotions, and it made him angry and destructive - and who better to take out his violence on than Vegeta? Vegeta was the one person Shizuo knew for a fact could take it. So upon seeing him, Shizuo calls out and tries to draw him into a fight. His tone, quite like Shizuo himself, is unstable and wavering.]
Vegeta! I don't know what Izaya told you, but fuck him. Come fight with me.

But Vegeta wasn't his usual self, either. That third-class brat had been so far above him that he hadn't even broken a sweat fighting Vegeta off, and the prince felt helpless. And when Vegeta felt helpless, he felt angry. Very angry.
Without any fanfare at all, he turns towards Shizuo and flares his ki up around himself, getting into a fighting stance. He won't be merciful this time, there will be no carefully placed openings for Shizuo to find.]

Shizuo is extremely strong (for a human) when so blindly enraged, but he's also very irrational. He doesn't think about how to best approach Vegeta, because it doesn't matter. At this point, nothing really does.
He charges at him, ki be damned, with everything he has.]

It might be sadistic, but Vegeta wants a stationary target to beat on.]

It makes him even angrier, in a way that's almost tangible, but laced with a hurt - with self-defeat. Maybe this is exactly what he needs - to be destroyed physically in addition to emotionally.
It takes him a minute, but the kicks make him crumble. He tries to grab at Vegeta to pull him down with him, but it's a stupid move, born more of rage than any real kind of planning.]

[He peppers Shizuo with as many punches as he can take, straddling his torso and not letting up for a second. Izaya's little warning be damned, Vegeta wanted to make someone as helpless as he felt.]

No tags all day, all the tags ten minutes before appts XD
Lol whoops
He knows it'll end - expects it - but keeps hitting until the moment is shattered.]

It doesn't work, though. Being blasted hurts, and it wakes up nothing within him. He stops trying to hit Vegeta and falls back.]

Probably. It tore at him that Frieza had destroyed them all and left him with that idiotic Nappa and Raditz, of all the people that could have survived. And of course, Kakarot and his spawn that wouldn't even fight him properly. He just looks lonely as he lowers his hand.]

Funny, how Vegeta is capable of making him feel physical pain - something he thought he was pretty much immune to prior to coming to Vatheon. It feels like being alive. Minimizes the other, intangible pain.
He says nothing. Just smokes.]

[It sounds like there's some disappointment, there. Maybe a little resignation.]

[Isn't that all he ever wanted? He should feel better about this. But after everything that has happened - how he hurt Zelda and ultimately caused Izaya to kill Sola - Shizuo feels more like a monster than ever.
Being inhuman would have at least given his monstrosity an explanation.
He matches Vegeta's disappointment and drags on his cigarette.]

It all sounded irritating. Letting out a growl, he took out his rage on a nearby carousel, reducing it to rubble. He looks more bored than angry after the outburst, letting his eyes slide back over to Shizuo.]
What possessed you to come looking for me?
no subject
[He flicks some ash off of his cigarette. He hadn't expected Vegeta to talk to him - the only time they had ever had a conversation had ultimately led to Zelda being indirectly threatened.
That was almost laughable. Vegeta hadn't been the real threat.]
You too?
[Because even Shizuo could tell that he had seemed pissed off.]

[Vegeta spits off to the side.]
He's unwilling to injure me so that I can grow stronger.
[He sounds bewildered on that front. It was the proper thing to do, after all. He was the fucking PRINCE of the Saiyans, Trunks should jump at the chance to aid him. It's something that Vegeta would be willing to do for almost any Saiyan at this point, so why wouldn't Trunks?]
no subject
Maybe he's afraid.
[Not that Shizuo has any idea who this guy is, but he can understand not wanting to hurt someone despite what you are - what you can do.]
no subject
[Vegeta sounds determined, but he doesn't sound particularly gleeful about it. It's like he thinks he needs to get stronger.]
no subject
[Izaya - fucking flea who can't stay out of his thoughts - had mentioned that there were others out there who were just as strong as Vegeta, if not stronger. So maybe he didn't need to rely on this other guy.]
You should... [He cringes a little, thinking about his conversation with Izaya - how he had held the man who just betrayed him, so completely. It makes him feel sick.] make a video on the network and see if you can find someone else to hurt you.
