Lulls in activity were all well and good for most people. For Peony? Not so much. Though lazy, the Malkuthian still preferred to be actively involved in something. With a lack of craft-based projects in mind (the few he finished before getting distracted by the next shiny thing), his option was to wander around the island. Which wound up with him stumbling across a certain grumpy old man.
Startling people was sometimes fun, but probably not the best idea in the case of Alister. So instead, Peony heaves a contented little sigh, arms folded behind his head, before dropping onto the sand to sit beside him.
"Yanno, I've been told the secret is to get involved and do all the fun things in life." Secret to what, though? Shhhh, not telling.
