For all intents and purposes, it should be warmer, shouldn't it? Peony was sure he'd checked the weather, Monday, and it was definitely supposed to be warmer than it was. But nothing really seemed like he could get warm enough? He's been up and down between the island and Vatheon itself but to no avail!

Oh right. Curse. Maaaan! This is a terrible curse! Not like curses are usually good, hence "curse" and all, but...

Come give a guy a hug, Vatheon? Whether he's just unhappily waddling walking by or standing somewhere or anything else--there are certainly bouts of glomming onto Jade and Alister!

[ So Peony likes attaching to Jade, does he?

So does someone small. Or, well, she doesn't know if she likes it, but she is fairly sure it will make her warmer than curling up with Mikoto and Tatara has. And they need to be warm too, so even if Jade is being hugged by someone else, Anna is reaching for a hand to try to get the red-eyed man to come with her.

Jade doesn't like this. He's never cold, he's always fine. The reason, and he'll never tell anyone as long as he lives, is that Jade can regulate his internal temperature like a lizard using his fon slots and the specific fonons he grabs from the environment.

As for right now, though, Jade is shivering and checking around the apartment. He's trying to find if the air is on- no, the room temperature is 84 and humid, typical Grand Chokmah weather. The windows are all closed. He rubs his arms tightly and shivers, gritting his teeth until his jaw hurts.

The apartment seems empty save for Jade and His Majesty- Alister has been busy recently, or so it seems. Said something about a project for a friend (A bike or something). He finds himself standing in front of Peony's bedroom door and wondering just why he feels the need to go inside. But maybe he'd just check on His Majesty. See if it's not just him. Both of them are from Keterburg, so the cold hasn't really ever bothered them, but...

He peeks in and spots Peony, his brows raising and his voice surprisingly okay for all the shivering.

"Your Majesty, have you been feeling the sudden cold?" Can Jade use you as a heater?

[ Sora was heading up to the island for a bit of sun. He didn't mind the hugging, or the physical contact, but he did have to wonder if the actual sun would help at all. He was a bit disappointed to find it didn't, but that's when he spotted Peony walking around. ]

Hey, Peony!

[ Sora ran over. It had been awhile since he'd seen the Emperor, but it was always good to see a friend. ]

[Tear had been trying to get used to this new city, but this cold curse, as the others were referring to the irrational cold that she was starting to feel was getting on her nerves. It made walking difficult, but dragged herself from the little house she picked and made her body move around.

She'd just walked out of her little house when she noticed a familiar blond head. She felt herself smile, despite the chill she felt, and walked slowly towards him.]

Emperor! I was wondering when I would run into you around here.
