It is a curse week. It is a curse week where people are cold unless they get cuddled. Sufferer is used to getting cuddled for warmth, and enjoys it. He knows what he must do.

[OOC: Sufferer will be wandering the bubble during the week, gently offering cuddles to anyone who is cold. Just tell me where and what your character is doing in your tag, and they will end up gently embraced in the warm, cuddly arms of troll Jesus.]

"So not long then. Do you like it here so far?" Sufferer clasps Leo's hand in both of his, completely unashamed. He can tell by Leo's body language that he's starting to get warm, and so he has every intention of hanging on as long as he can, or until Leo lets him go.

"I like the people I've met here. And compared to home it's a bit of a vacation. But I'm not sold on and never will be sold on the whole experiment thing. That is some messed up stuff." Leo looks fairly conflicted as he answers the question.

"The experiments and the curses can be... unpleasant." Sufferer will allow that, certainly. "But I find it best to think of this place as a place of rest and peace, somewhere where we have time to do all those things we didn't have time to do before."

You know, like grow old and stuff.

[fundemetal]

"Yeah, I'm trying to make the best of it, but I don't want to drop my guard completely either. You know?"

Leo's body has returned to it's normal level of warmth and he extracts his hand from Sufferer's grip.

"I know." Sufferer stays nearby, in case Leo starts getting cold again. "What are you worried about, my friend?"

"That nurse for one thing. I don't know what she might do if she finds out I was one of the people who fixed the coral."

[onlyasign]

"Ah." A legit concern, being afraid of the Head Nurse. "Well, we protect our own here, and if she gives you any problems, all you have to do is let someone know. We'll help you."

Sufferer, for instance, knows about the Head Nurse's pet slime baby AND her teddy bear, so he's got some blackmail leverage.

"Good to know. I can handle myself in a fight, but I don't think that's the tactic she'd take." He doesn't say it because it probably sounds silly that he's more afraid of the nurse than he is of monsters and giants. Those he can handle. Even if they are scary.

[onlyasign]

"No, she's more about traps and subterfuge. But yes, we wouldn't let her do anything to you." Sufferer isn't too afraid of the Head Nurse, but then, he's always been stupidly trusting.

"Thanks, man. Didn't think people I barely knew would be that cool as to look out for me."
