Who: Angelo and Marcello.
Where: Outside the Abandoned Village.
When: June 29th.

Status: Closed.
[When morning came, Marcello made his way across the city to the island. Dawn was still breaking across the sky when he rode the elevator up. He assumed he was not returning when he stepped off it; and prepared himself for what was going to be a rather hard fight.
The idea gave him a thoughtful silence in which to think as he walked through the abandoned village. He was visualising his brother lying across the floor at his feet; he tried to see himself there. He had no idea what his brother had mapped out, but he was prepared to lose everything. He would never have taken the easy way out - for his body would not let him. Even now, with his hopes crushed and a little tattered, it was impossible to stop moving.
He climbed to find himself staring down over the village, and promising never to let his brother have anything else. That Angelo's decision to challenge him to this duel had not been the case. There was a sort of silence that lulled him into peace. He did not trust his brother to have the stomach to do what he needed - which he had shown by staying at the abbey, and throughout his life.
And as far as he was concerned, it was inevitable as soon as he had been brought to this accursed place - where he could not escape his brother - that it would have come to this.]
