[ Cloud is not exactly the best party thrower in the world, but Zack (and some extra advice from the island) meant that he had at least gotten some idea on how to make it not the worst thing he ever did. It was a simple set up on the beach with a very shoddy attempt at a birthday cake (it was at least round and frosted, gold star for effort) and a table with some food, plus a nice bonfire that was maybe a little bit too fun to make.

Hopefully it would be fun for everyone else and more importantly fun for Tifa. ]

I know. He means a lot to me, too. [They're such good friends after all. Which might not be exactly what Zack means.]

But you come to expect the little gestures from Cloud.

Yeah, true. I was kinda surprised he had the idea, too, to be honest. But sometimes you just gotta go big and loud, you know?

I haven't asked. I'm not really meant to know any of it yet.

That's what everyone says. But what if it's not always true? Or what if we go back a different way?

[She just gives him a wry look for that. Kind of makes your head hurt to think about too much.]

No. I'm sure it's hard to keep straight everything I know or don't know, especially the everyday things.
