The effects of the current curse are well-known by now, and have led to some very interesting happenings over the network for Nepeta to follow and giggle over. As for herself, she doesn't exactly make a habit of hiding anything, so it's hardly been the calamity some other people were treating it as. If anything, Tavros was getting complimented and fussed over and told how cute he is even more than usual, but after a day or two of this she realizes she shouldn't leave her other quadrant out of all of the fun.

She needed to go visit Equius!

She was pretty sure she'd find him in his hive, possibly still working on fixing the damage done by the flood, or else buried in one of his projects. Either way, he was sure to be fully focused on it and ripe for a good old pouncegreet! Now where could her meowrail be...

Equius smiles a little when he hears her giggle, and blows more air into her hair. "No, that's impossible, because I already pity you the most forever."

"Noooo," she objects, laughing and wriggling about in his arms. "I do! I insist!"

"Yeeeeees." Equius loosens his hold a little, giving her more room to squirm.

Uh oh, here they go again! Giving her more room was a bad idea as she shoots up and barnacles herself to his face. "Nooooooo!"

It's okay, having her barnacled to his face is how he knows things are okay again. "Yeeeeesssss."

She pretends to growl and chew on his head. "No no no!"

He ducks his head and submits to his chewing. "Yes yes yes!"

Good. He is going to be well and properly chewed on, with her hands messing up his hair for good measure. "Nuh uh uh!"

Noooo, his beautiful hair! Oh well, he has shampoo that gets out cat spit. "Uh huh uh huh!"

"Nefurrr!" At this rate he'll need to use an entire bottle to get it all off. She's making a complete mess out of him and is not sorry at all.

"Nepeta!" Okay, the mess she's making is enough to stir him out of his indulgent mood. "That's going to take forever to comb out!"

She immediately leaves off, chortling in triumph. "Heehee, I won! I won!"

"Yes, yes, you won." Equius stands up, trying to run his fingers through his hair and failing. "Drink your tea, I'm going to go wash this before it turns into knots. And then," he points at her ominously, "you're going to comb it out for me."

"I won, I won, I won!" Nepeta beams, incredibly proud of herself. "Okay! With the Hello Kitty brush?" This is the only brush Nepeta will ever deign to use.

"Since I know that is the only brush you'll use, yes. I'll be back in a few minutes." He leaves her to her own devices then to go take a quick shower.

She's still giggling to herself when he disappears, before quickly swallowing down her now cool tea and scampering off to her moirail's room to grab her brush and...a couple of other things.

When he returns, there will not only be a demure looking Nepeta at the table with her brush laid out next to her. No, there will also be several long and shiny blue and green ribbons.

Equius returns a short time later (a lifetime of taking lots of showers means he can be in and out of one very quickly), his hair wet and hanging down his back. He takes one look at the ribbons and tells her, "You can put those in my hair, but I'm not going outside with them in."

She beams at him. "You're going to look pawesome!" she says, which, he may note, is neither a yes nor a no.

"I'm going to look very frilly in them. And I'm not leaving this hive with them still in my hair." He keeps standing, wanting confirmation that he won't have to go outside with his new hairdo.

"Okay, okay! I'll take them out before you go anywhere, all right?" She waves one of them at him. "On one condition!"

Still not sitting down. "And what condition is that?"

"Put some in mine too and take a picture with me!!" There is no way that could go wrong, right?

"You'll have to put them in yourself, because I'd end up pulling your hair out. And I'll allow that, if you promise me that you'll only show that picture to Darkleer, Gamzee, Tavros, and maybe the Disciple. No one else" He's on to your schemes, bro...

"What about if I tie the bows myself and you just have to drop them over my horns? And okay! I can purromise that!" It's not like she'd ever use them to blackmail him...

Joke's on you, Nepeta, Equius trusts the people he listed to understand moirallegiance and not question it. "Yes, that would be acceptable." He sits down then, turning his back to her so she can reach his hair.
