Wallace adjusted the cushions on the sofa as he gazed around at the blue living room. He had painted the place up a nice aqua blue and hoped Fai liked it when he arrived. He had invited his friend around to see the new place and hoped the feedback would be positive. Wallace always had an eye for colour. Milotic moved to slide around the sofa and made herself at home as she usually did.

She never spent time in a Pokeball because she didn't like it. Some Pokémon didn't. Wallace sighed then sat down and waited for the doorbell to ring.

"That is true. Apart from the curses that is. I remember when you sprouted a bunny tail and had one eye a different colour from the other." Wallace smirked.

[behind_my_smile]

"Ahh that was interesting wasn't it? I always seem to get caught up in the curses but very few have actually been bad. I rather enjoy most of them." And he did. There was something fun about experiencing something new. Perhaps it was mostly fun because Fai knew it would only be temporary.

"Interesting is one word you could call it. I was rather worried when you had different coloured eyes, Fai. What if the next curse makes you loose an ear or something?" Wallace looked terrified at the idea. "If the curses are funny, then it's a whole other story." He pulled out some Pecha berry juice and poured some into two cups.

[behind_my_smile]

"I didn't mind it. It was nice being able to see out of both eyes again. I found it interesting that the world actually knew what color my eyes were supposed to be. That is the scary part..that this place knows so much about us." And Fai has always liked to keep most of himself locked away.

Wallace nodded. "I bet is was nice to be back to your usual self after the curses were lifted. How does Vatheon know so much about us?" He swallowed. He found that concept to be rather disturbing.

"I'm not sure where it gets its information..but we probably aren't meant to know and maybe it is better that way. We might not like the answer." Fai was definitely curious what kind of magic kept this place alive but it was better not to dig too deep.

Maybe Fai was right. Perhaps they weren't meant to know. Wallace nodded, as he prepared the picnic and got everything ready. He set out some glasses and some lemonade he had prepared earlier. "What kind of sandwiches do you like, Fai?"

"Since food is kind of a secondary thing for me I like to try all kinds of sandwiches. I don't really have a favorite." Considering the blood thing was what actually kept Fai alive. But that didn't mean the vampire didn't enjoy indulging in eating normal food for the taste of it.

"Ah yes, of course. I nearly forgot about that." He nodded. How could he have forgotten about Fai's secret. That he was a vampire. How many others new that he was a vampire? "Well, I have lemonade here, if you want some."

[behind_my_smile]

"I'd love some~ Lemonade is perfect for a picnic." Fai began cutting some of the tasty dessert that he had brought, separating it on two plates for them to enjoy in a little bit.

Wallace nodded in agreement, as he filled both their glasses up with lemonade. At least there were no Beedrills here to try and drink some of the sweet lemonade. That happened back home somewhat with the wild Pokémon. Wallace's eyes darted to the dessert Fai was cutting up. It looked delicious.

Fai set Wallace's piece beside him then lifted a finger to wiggle it in his direction. "No dessert before you finish your main meal. But this way it is ready for digging into."

Wallace smirked at Fai's playful tone. "Oh, I never like ruining my first with sweets, Fai. I am a man of taste." He smiled, as he took a sip of lemonade.

[behind_my_smile]

"Good~" Fai smiled and looked around at the spot they had selected. It was nice and quiet and Fai liked being able to enjoy being outside the house in such an area. "I like lots of desserts and sometimes I wish I could eat only those for my meal."

"You have a sweet tooth then?" Wallace teased, as he bit into a sandwich and drank a gulp of lemonade.

[behind_my_smile]

"I definitely do~ They are the most fun to eat even if they aren't the best for you." It was hard to tell since Fai had such a lithe form, but he indulged in every kind of sweet imaginable, whenever he could.

"There's nothing wrong with having a sweet tooth at all! In fact, I believe it makes you a sweeter person, am I right?" Wallace smirked at the response, before taking a deep glug of lemonade.

[behind_my_smile]

Fai laughed and then smiled cutely, "I certainly hope so~. If that is true then I'd be about the sweetest person in existence. Everyone should indulge in more sweets!"

Wallace grinned at Fai's words. "It doesn't hurt to be a little sweet inside, as long as you have a hard shell when need be." He helped himself to a sandwich and poured some more lemonade out.

[behind_my_smile]

"I think that is where I have the most trouble. My shell isn't very hard. More like a nice chocolate coating~" Fai took a bite of a sandwich and munched on it as he looked around.

Wallace thought on Fai's words for a moment, before biting into a slice of chocolate cake. "Well....having a soft shell is ok too. If you were hard all over, you may be considered to be a cold person."
