Izumo listened to Rin, privately hoping that Maka would soon return. Yeah, she liked Rin well enough (though she'd never admit it), but he was certainly nowhere near as good as explaining things as she was.

"... the headmaster," she said, apparently ignoring the part about everyone else. "Running a maid cafe."

Izumo sighed and brought a hand to her forehead.

"So, how long before all of this inevitably self destructs? Because I can't imagine the people we know are the only crazy people here, and they're bad enough..."

Rin blinks at that, slowly shaking his head.

"I've been here over a year, Kamiki. Some people have been here longer. It ain't normal, sure, but I think you're not puttin' a lotta faith in people being able to adapt."
