Chocobo Races

[It's a lovely climate-controlled day in the bubble on Sunday, the perfect day for a chocobo race! Participants and spectators alike, it's time to gather in the stadium that's been set up in the amusement park quadrant!

Before the races the janitor is looking for help in setting things up properly and cleaning up any bird poo on the tracks so the area is nice and pretty once the event begins. Feel free to join in or just to laugh at questers scooping poop.

During the races, the stadium will be packed with the locals! Racers are encouraged to arrive early and calm their bird, the chocobos aren't used to quite so much noise. Spectators can just kick back and enjoy themselves. Poor unfortunate questers who have been wrangled into helping the janitor again will have to hand out food and clean up spills.

After the races, people looking to gather points are encouraged to help the poor janitor clean up the pigsty the locals have left behind. Hopefully everyone had enough fun to make it worth it!]

[Oh, he is very much affected. His normal clothes have been exchanged for a... whatever that trainwreck of an outfit is. He has got a cheerfully painted ukelele slung onto his back too, denoting his class pretty easily: this dude is a bard.

He smiles, reaching up to pat Pounce's neck.]

Sorta, yeah. Mostly my feathery chicka does all get to belonging to my motherfuckin' babe, but he's got his own to ride, so me and Pounce are gonna up and try our fuckin' stuff at this together.

Aww! Well, I guess that's a pretty good deal then.

*She's about to say that she'd rather ride another chocobo, but her bird is watching and listening, so instead she just pats it*

[He reaches around back to grab his ukulele, letting go of Pounce's halster with not a care. She never had been the kind of bird for running off. Darkleer did yes, but Pounce was a good bird. Besides, despite having been raised by him, she somehow had recognized a dumb, hapless chick in Gamzee and preferred to hover close by just so he wouldn't... do something incredibly stupid even to her birdbrain. Which, to be fair, does happen.]
