[It's a lovely climate-controlled day in the bubble on Sunday, the perfect day for a chocobo race! Participants and spectators alike, it's time to gather in the stadium that's been set up in the amusement park quadrant!

Before the races the janitor is looking for help in setting things up properly and cleaning up any bird poo on the tracks so the area is nice and pretty once the event begins. Feel free to join in or just to laugh at questers scooping poop.

During the races, the stadium will be packed with the locals! Racers are encouraged to arrive early and calm their bird, the chocobos aren't used to quite so much noise. Spectators can just kick back and enjoy themselves. Poor unfortunate questers who have been wrangled into helping the janitor again will have to hand out food and clean up spills.

After the races, people looking to gather points are encouraged to help the poor janitor clean up the pigsty the locals have left behind. Hopefully everyone had enough fun to make it worth it!]

Any food can make you fat if you eat too much of it.

[Sola pets Guay's beak affectionately even if the chocobo seems more interested in the greens than his rider.]

Your horse could fly?

He couldn't fly. [ He was actually rather depressed about that- ]

But he had wings. And was really pretty.

[ Even if he wasn't a color she could really see-

Now she studies how much she's fed hers. ]

That sucks. What's the use of wings if you can't fly? Could he glide at lease?

There wasn't much of a bump when he jumped off the bridge.

Well that's good at least. Chickens can glide like that too. It's fun to jump off stuff and float to the ground with them.

[Or at least it used to be before he was afraid of jumping off tall things.]

... A chicken can hold you up?

[ She's studying you, Sola. You don't look like someone light enough for a chicken to glide with. Aren't chickens small....? ]

Uh-huh. Not forever or anything, but enough to glide between platforms.

[Cuccos are buff, ok?]

... Platforms?

[ Sola you are giving her ideas...~~No, Anna, no, normal chickens won't cut it.~~ ]

Yeah! Like different ledges or rocks and things. So you can get over rivers that're too fast or bottomless pits.

[He has no idea he's giving her ideas, or even that it wouldn't be a safe thing to try. Sola's a terrible influence.]

... There are bottemless pits?

[ that's kinda scary. ]

Well I don't know if they're actually bottomless, but the bottom's so far down that you can't see it or even hear when a rock hits the bottom so it might as well be.

[ That's scary. There has to be a bottom!

... Are Anna and her chocobo giving Sola the same sort of look...? Possibly. ]

It's not that scary if you avoid th- ow!

[Looks like Guay has decided that the little tail on Sola's coif looked delicious and decided to try and eat it. The Hylain struggles away and taps the chocobo on the beak in disapproval.]

No! Bad!

But they ought to have bottoms...

[ Because being able to fall and fall for ever is scary! ]

Well they should, but I don't know.

[He feels bad for scolding his bird so Sola pets him on the head gently. Guay makes a please chirping noise and nuzzles his head against Sola's hand.]

Are you going to race on that red one?

[ Okay, so she's going to hold on and let the chocobo run.

Its technically the same thing. ]

[That is totally the same thing.]
