Does anyone need some healing? [Ruca's quest log]

<sub>[Well, this reminded him a bit of the guild quests... expect Iria and Spada weren't here to make him choose the most dangerous ones and insist to visit places people usually stayed away from.

The new skills and weapon was a big change to him though - he was used to fighting using a heavy broadsword and casting magic, but none of it was healing one. Now his weapon was merely a light staff and he didn't have much strength, but he could heal everyone. He couldn't help but be a little worried how he was going to defend himself if anything attacked him, but he was still going to do his best to help others. If anyone got hurt he would make sure to heal them, not caring much for himself.]

Down By the Bay; closed to Roxas and Ganymede

<sub>[Ruca stays a bit behind, looking around carefully. It still bothers him that he can't fight the way he was used to and somewhat nervously he tightens his grip on his mage staff. What will they find by the bay? Will they have to fight? Whatever it might be he is just glad that he isn't alone.

[Roxas has gotten more used to being a "beastmaster" over the past few days. He still wishes he had a shirt, especially in the cooler weather on the island, but he can deal. His Samurai Nobody slides along just behind him; hopefully it isn't weirding out his companions too much. He glances back at Ruca, noticing his nervousness.]

Relax. There might not even be fighting on this one.

[He doesn't know Roxas at all, but he trusts Ruca's judgement enough at this point to accept him on this quest. And while whatever creature Roxas is herding along is certainly weird and maybe a little grotesque, Ganymede has a lot of experience with that sort of thing, so it doesn't bother him much.

And at least he's not the only one with a ridiculous outfit and a mostly bare chest.

He was moving just behind Roxas but in front of Ruca, and when the other boy speaks up, he glances back at Ruca himself.]

That is what we're here for, after all.

<sub>[The Nobody doesn't really bother Ruca all that much.

When his companions look at him, he blinks and smiles awkwardly at them.]</sub>

Ah, s-sorry... I'm more used to using a sword than this. _{[He looks at his staff.]} I can't help but be a little worried...

_{[A short, nervous laugh escapes his lips.]}

But I'm sure we'll be okay.

_{[That's right. He needs to relax a little; it won't help them at all if he'll be worried all the time.]}

[Roxas glances at his Samurai, and then points a thumb at it.]

He's used to having swords, too, but he's done all right.

Silence In The Library; closed to Shing

<sub>[A bookworm would never let a library to be in danger. Especially not now. He is going to save the poor library from those gossiping harpies no matter what!

_{[Yes. That sounds like a good idea. There is no need for violence, especially when he's not even able to do much damage.]}

[ But then there's some very savage and angry-sounding cries from deeper in the library that make him freeze. ]

... maybe we could bribe them with food?

<sub>[Ruca hears that too and he doesn't like it one bit. Suddenly he begins to wonder if maybe they could rescues the library another day... Or when they find one more party member. Or two.

Ah, no. No! No running away now.]</sub>

[ Despite everything, though, Shing grins as he gives Ruca a thumbs-up and a smile. ]

It's okay, though... I got your back. Don't worry!

_{[Ruca is silent for a moment. Even though he still looks a bit worried, Shing's words reassure him quite a bit. He even manages to smiles back a little as nods.]}

Thank you Shing.

_{[He isn't alone.]}

[ He smiles back, nodding determinedly as he begins to move forward. ]

Once they reach the harpies, the monsters don't seem to notice them at all. Ruca stays in the back, but close to Shing and in hushed voice he speaks to his companion.]</sub>

...They didn't notice us. What should we do? Attack?

[ There's a pause as Shing looks between Ruca and the harpies -- clearly this was their chance. Element of surprise and all. ]

Y-yeah... we'll go on three, then.
