[Since hearts were a tricky topic and Faris might have been in trouble still with the mermaid tails. As well as doing the Zombie mermaid gill collecting.

Been a while since I explored the ship though. Might be nice to go through a bit of nostalgia.

Y'mean back with the dead pirates? It kinda sounds familiar--Ah! Port Royal! That place had pirates 'n all that. They'd... turn kinda dead under the moonlight and the place always gave me the creeps, but it wasn't really too bad.

_{[Not to mention things sound a little different with the heart collection here. There's no Kingdom Hearts, he can't use a keyblade, and things do work different here.]}

Just don't leave me behind. I got kinda lost when that ship first popped up ages ago.

[Placing her hands on his hips as she watched him for a moment. Just letting that news settle in as well as letting get whatever qualms he might have had from their previous excursions out.]

The only thing I can really think of are my other sitars, otherwise I can't really think of anything.

_{[A beat.]}

[Sitting down next to him as she pulls out a potion to drink.]

Good, mate. Might make a pirate out of you yet. [Rogue. Yeah, she meant rogue. Offering him the potion.]

Trouble would make it even more valuable. We aren't getting cold feet, are we? [Nudging him.]

_{[He takes the potion and sniffs at it. He's had bad luck with potions in the past, man.]}

_{[Have your pretty little jewel, Faris. Demyx is just going to try hiding the faint blush that decided to make itself known by pulling one side of his hood up to cover his face.]}

If they're cold it's just cuz of this weird getup.

[Holding the jewel to inspect it and pretending not to notice him covering up.

Just going to sneakily drape an arm across the back of him. Can't get his shoulders with those crazy spike pad things his outfit was toting.]

Should we rest at the Inn before taking on some more quests?

I thought you'd never ask. I'm pretty beat.

_{[Demyx you barely did anything jeeze.]}

...What're you gonna do with the crystal, anyway?

[Chuckling before she got up. Offering her hand to help him up as well.]

Could have said something, love. [Giving another look at the gem.] Not too sure. It's a bit big for a ring. Could just display it some where around the house. [~~Expensive fish decoration~~] I could see if it's worth anything to other people. Maybe it can be exchanged for points.

What about a necklace?

_{[He reaches up to grab her hand to pull himself up.]}

A necklace might just be perfect. Crowns aren't exactly my thing.

[Just ignore the being a princess thing.

Giving the stone one last look before tucking it away in to a pouch.]

What about you? Are crowns something you like? [Might be silly seeing him try to put one on. Your hair, man. It doesn't help hats or anything else at all.]

[Finally a "quest" where he can put his unfairly limited skills to proper use. After grumping about for most of the week, Laharl is eager for a fight, and takes the lead as they head down into the caves.]

_{[He was going to protest that his defense was lousy, especially without his original powers and Arpeggio at his side. His role, (un)fortunately wasn't built for being a tank.

[Demyx still has a higher defense than Laharl right now, sadly. Although it wouldn't make much difference to Laharl if he didn't.

He glances back as he hears one of his meatshields stopping.]

Quest description: Getting a hold of this quest giver is pretty hard. She likes to stick to the shadows for some reason. As for her quest... it seems she has a bit of a grudge towards that Head Nurse that has been running the show around here. And she'd like to take this opportunity to get back at her, namely by stringing some of her underwear over the coral. She's got the coral, now all she needs is the panties. And that is where you come in.
Reward: 5 points.
Quest statistics:
× This quest needs to be done in two. It seems the Head Nurse's bedroom is bizarrely well guarded. And also located in an underground crypt underneath the clinic for some reason? Better bring a meat shield friend to keep a look out.
× Be prepared to make it past a number of strange defences, including, but not necessarily limited to needing to pick locks, giant axes swinging down from the ceiling, trap doors. Go crazy.
× Along with your points, please be rewarded with the knowledge that the Head Nurse sleeps with an adorable Teddy bear. It seems its name is Tim.
× Yes, the panties are adorable. No, you cannot keep them.

[What a weird quest. But what the heck. It'll get him points and that's all that he really cares about. So here he is with Faris, walking up to the outside of the heavily guarded location... and tilting his head in question.]

We gotta go through all that just for underwear?

Yup. Jus' think of it as a way to work out those thieving skills.

[As well as to keep in shape! Gosh Axel, you need some muscle meat on that bod.]

[This looks like a safe hallway. Nothing in there but odd buttons sticking out of the floor every couple of feet. Totally harmless looking buttons!

The walls had what appeared to be slits running up and down. Big enough for a blade to fit through.]

Think we're supposed to touch 'em in a right order or avoid them? [Faris stepped up to a button to nudge the side with a boot. Didn't seem to trigger it yet.]

Axel scoffs as they start to head inside.]

I'd rather not think about what kind of frilly things she wears.

[But anyway. Back to this quest. Axel looks down at the little buttons then with his own foot he nudges a different one to see what it might do.]

Well, we can only do a little trial and error, can't we?

...only for the floor to start crumbling, and the slots in the walls opened up. Hello ropes with weights attached to the bottom swinging out.

Faris lept forward and used his shield to bounce off one of the rope blades. Just going to grab for the next one to climb on up.]

Guess it's time to be a monkey, Red.

[Yuuuup. Time to hop from rope to rope to avoid falling through the open floor.]

[Axel reacts almost instantly, leaping back as the floor shakes and gives way. Thankfully there's ropes for them to grab and with a hop he snatches one and starts to follow, swinging with just the right momentum.]

Not like it takes much effort for you.

[Laughs as he tries to swing past her]

[Why would anyone want this little statuette of a mermaid basking on a rock. Sure, it might be beautiful, but there was a heck lot of other rocking treasure this guy had. Points were points though, and Faris was going to work his butt off to get as much as he could to get something from home.]

[Now this is a quest he can really get behind. Snatching treasure away is right up his alley. ... Not really looking forward to potentially sharing it, but hey, there are points involved, too. So, hi, partner.]

[There was one tiny thing he might have forgotten to mention. This wasn't exactly a partnering up mission. This was going to be like cop and robbers! Faris was the cop protecting the mermaid. Come and get it if you dare, robber.

Faris was chilling inside of the place and scoping out some of the other finery the man had laying around.]

[Well, shoot. Hmph. At least he can get behind a good chase scene. Now all that's missing is the loony music.

Axel will just be perched outside, surveying closely... before he goes ahead and tries to sneak inside. You won't get away with this, buddy.]

[It keeps the whole thing interesting, doesn't it?

Ask nice enough and he MIGHT let him have it.

Scoping out a picture. There are some nice things in here. Faris wasn't big on art, but it looked old and the frame was ornate. There was also something sparkly hanging in a silver box on a table.
