When: Sunday, monday, tuesday - He's going somewhere to sleep, but he's back early and leaves late.
What: Duke is withdrawing from people by burying himself in books. Clearly this means he should be bothered.

[ Lowell was gone. It really shouldn't have bothered him as much as it had, but the man was... moderately important. Not as important to him as others, but...

Duke shakes his head, turning the page he's on finally and setting the book on the air as he would set a book on a table surface. It stays, as Duke knew it would, shifting aside to bring one of the other two floating books into his line of sight.

So maybe its more running away. But it works, for him. Focus on something else, and nothing will really hurt. ]

[ Duke sort of... shrugs. He doesn't really care, beyond being mildly embarrassed. He sort of expects violence from humans.

Clearly he has great self preservation interests. ]

Likely should not have bothered someone mumbling past the translation effect while sitting upon the coral.

He can't quite figure it out. ]

... Magic, but is that of Aer - now Mana. Refer to spells mostly as formula, as it is very similar to math.

Fonons, used in spells called artes. It's more focused on incantations and voice.

Yours seems to have more domestic uses than fonic artes.

... Artes is familiar, but mostly used for actions of weapons.

[ Domestic takes him a moment - he really is most familiar with the combat aspect - but he does realize what is meant as he looks at the floating book. ]

Something not usually explored, but is not that hard to specify what is wanted for uses like that.

I suppose creating a table wasn't quite high on my list of things to do.
