003 - the world seems so much bigger when you're four and a half
Who: Bitty John and you!
Where: Villa and the plaza
When: Backdated to Friday (1/18)
Style: Action spam because I'm feeling lazy
Status: open
[There's only so long you can play in your backyard before the space can no longer contain your imagination and you get bored. So despite the fact that John is only four years old now and really shouldn't be wandering, guess what he's doing? Yeah. Hopefully nobody was looking for him because the backyard is now -1 John Egbert.]
[Once he's escaped, John begins to wander the bubble. Dash had taken him out for an airborne view of the bubble earlier but other than that he hadn't really gotten to do much exploring outside of the villa yet.]
[After what seems like FOREVER he finally reaches the plaza and begins excitedly dashing about, pressing his nose up against the glass of shops, crawling under tables at the cafes, chasing stray cats, and...falling into a fountain. But does being soaking wet stop him?]
[The answer to that is no. Not in the slightest.]
((ooc: Feel free to run into him either before or after his fall-in with the fountain. Responses will come from

im saying she was awake friday, because bitty john.
Mind you, Jane has noticed a lot more kids around ever since she woke up from her extended nap- and she wasn't exactly used to the curses quite yet. It was quite a confusing situation.
She kindly asks one of the waiters to just box her meal and she would be back for it. SHE HAS A LITTLE BOY TO CATCH. Okay so, HOW TO APPROACH? Carefully of course.]
Excuse me, little one? You look like you're having a jolly time there running around.
hehehehe :3c
[He turns his face up to look at her, only to give her a blank stare and then squint. He's only seen his nanna's picture on the mantelpiece, but with as much time as he spends in the living room watching movies, it's impossible for him to not know her face. But his nanna is very old and also she is dead. This girl is very young and distinctly less dead.]
[This is really quite confusing. But clearly if he just stands in this fountain and stares long enough, it will make sense. Clearly. Using his words will not help in this situation at all, no sir.]
*^*
FRIENDLY APPROACHES ARE GOOD ONES.]
Are you having fun?
[She will go from crouching now to sitting on the edge of the fountain. If he calls her Nanna....what if she just hadn't the heart ot correct him.]
bbies
Yes.
[It's a very matter-of-fact answer. Yes. He is having a lot of fun and intends to keep having as much fun for as long as he can. Read: until a responsible adult drags him away.]
You look like my nanna.
[It's not a question but it's not really...John what are you trying to accomplish here with this.
aaaaaaah u///u
that's good, but aren't you hungry or thirsty? I have some delicious lunch waiting at the restau--
[And there it was. He said it, and she doesn't have the heart to tell him that she just isn't his Nanna. Well. She is! But she isn't. It's a mess.]
Do I? Perhaps I could be your Nanna.
[She holds out her arms. Come with her John. A nice blanket and lunch is awaiting you.]

[That's...how that works, right? He neglects to answer her first question, though apparently the answer is 'yes'. At least, if that's what tummy rumbles mean.]
no subject
I'm not a ghost by any means. But we don't have to wonder about me being your Nanna or not.

Tony > fish John out of the fountain.
yeah, that seems like a good course of action. he grabs the kid by his shirt and hauls him out]
Hey, careful, there, kiddo.

I was! I...meant to do that!
[Yup. Sure did.]

[John doesn't really seem to care. After all, from his perspective, he only just arrived here a few days ago. Natives, schmatives.]

So he's standing there a moment, dripping before he realizes that being wet was caused by someone who fell into the water. He rushes over, tentatively peeking over the fountain. ]
Hello...?

Hi!

Are you alright?
no subject
Yep!!! Oh...you're all wet. [Wait...he probably did that, didn't he?] Sorry...
