Carnival Outing
Who: Kimbutt and Vanitass
Where: The Carnival
When: Backdated to Tuesday
Style: Whatever
Status: Closed.
[One of the best souvenirs someone could get was something potentially black mail worthy. He had wanted to scope out the photo on the screen just to see if the other was afraid on his first roller coaster ride. After seeing the image, he decided to get a couple copies of it. It’ll be worth the look he will receive when Kimblee sees it.
Speaking of his companion, where did he go?
Once the photos were printed out, he decided to look around for Kimblee. Maybe he should have attached a pompom to his head to make him easier to find.]

[But that's not keeping him from tilting his head a bit to lean his head against Vanitas' with a faint smile when he ends up with an arm over his shoulders. He actually doesn't even notice the bunny ears until he tilts his head back and encounters a hand.]
...Absolutely impossible.
no subject
Yeah. No. He would babysit the heck out of whomever was in Kimblee's body.]
Not worried I would be cozy with them?
[He can hear the strips printing out outside. Pausing a moment to turn his head to press his face against him.]
Want more? [Moving his hand down to knead the back of Kimblee's neck.]
no subject
[He has a little faith in Vanitas when it comes down to it.
This time, he doesn't flinch or tense up, simply leaning into his touch.]
...One more set couldn't hurt, could it?
no subject
He did care enough about what Vanitas said on the network about friendship. He was studying Kimblee's face for a bit.]
As much as I would only trust myself with your body, I do hope we never swap. [He wouldn't want to wish this on Kimblee.
Vanitas got up and pressed the buttons to answer him.]
no subject
[He's not even sure what would come from his emotions.]
I'd actually feel bad if you ended up hurting yourself from my alchemy if you knew what you were doing.
[As soon as everything was set up, Kimblee reached out to snag Vanitas so he could drag him into his lap and drop his head on his shoulder.]
no subject
[He could wind up in another alchemist's body! If they ever get another one.
And now he was in Kimblee's lap. Not complaining but this was hardly something he would show off.
Then again he did have the urge to show it off, and he wasn't even sure why. Turning his head to give him a quick nuzzle before trying to give the camera a grin. That worked, right?]
no subject
[He takes Vanitas' hands into his own and claps them together with a small laugh.]
Though I'm not sure if you'd be a brilliant alchemist, a terrifying one, or a mix of both. You're a skilled fighter, I can tell that much. I can pick up a few books for beginners from the nook and we'll see where you get there. ...Just remember that you'll end up having to study quite a bit.
[And somehow, the prospect of actually teaching Vanitas that sort of thing excites him. If he were to seriously fight with the other, he knew he'd have his work cut out; Kimblee had seen that much in Baschool when he had fought Edward.
Fighting Vanitas would be nearly on the same level, though he wasn't sure how much danger he'd be in. The additional numbers were one thing, but...]
My my, either way I'll have my plate full with passing things down to you, won't I? Firearms, cooking, and now possibly alchemy of all things.
[Despite the 'complaint', he's grinning.]
no subject
He seemed happy by the odd compliment. He'll ignore trying to pose for the dumb camera and just being up their hands to his mouth. He'll give a chomp to Kimblee's hand before a quick kiss.]
I have no problems with studying. [Though he will want time to keep active as well.
A sparring partner would be interesting though. Especially if it's something new.]
I also have no problems keeping your plate full. [It means he monopolize the other for a bit. Though it also meant keeping some form of schedule up. More "commitments" with the only person who had any control over Vanitas.
Shifting his hands to lace his fingers through. It was interesting comparing the sizes of their hands. Especially with the age swap.]
no subject
[Kimblee glances down at their hands for a second or two before he tilts his head against Vanitas' for the camera.]
I'll do my best to teach what I know, alright?
no subject
[He will lean back and wait for the flash before turning his head to nuzzle him.]
You don't need to simplify it. [He wasn't the rest of his "family" and didn't need it to be dumb down. Might be his ego talking though. He'll probably study like crazy to catch up if he ever didn't get something.
Closing his eyes as he moved Kimblee's hand to his chest.]
You seem very happy about this idea.
no subject
[And that was a good thing! There'd be less of a risk of this one breaking any of the laws!]
no subject
Not too sure about that. [Grinning as he turned to face the camera again.] I think you're taking whatever actual screws I might have left.
no subject
[Besides, he's not completely 'sane' himself according to some people.
Then he pauses before he glances over.]
So, judging on the day so far... what are your thoughts on this?
[Because he's been having a p. good day for a Brodate so far!]
no subject
[And then he'll tilt his head. Which "this" are they talking about? He'll assume the date portion of it.]
Getting you clinging to me at the Haunted House alone made it worth it. [Teasing.]
I'm enjoying it. [If that wasn't obvious enough by the fact he was still around.] We could do it again.
no subject
[He opens his mouth to retort that he wasn't clinging, but the words die on his tongue when Vanitas continues.]
...Also good. Embarrassing myself back there was worth it, then.
no subject
[Seriously. How does Vanitas enjoying their excursion make it worth screaming like a girl and trying to blow up the whole thing?]
Worth getting sick as well?
no subject
[He can trust Vanitas to keep most of the details secret.]
And if I'm weird, what does that make you for spending time around me?
no subject
[And wait until he shows him the picture.]
That would make me someone with strange taste in men. [Giving his hands a squeeze before letting go.] Anything else you want to do now? [Whatever they miss, they can always come back to do.]
no subject
[There will be so much denial.]
Mm, nothing that I can think of. [Plus there's always future date-things!]
no subject
Pick where we're eating? [Tilting his head.] Do I have to dress up? [Showering might be good because they probably both smelled like Carnival by now.]
no subject
Seafood or steak? [A beat.] It's nothing too fancy, but we should probably head home and clean up first. [Not to mention his face feels sticky on the spot where Vanitas licked him.]
no subject
...steak. [And for making him pick anyways, he will have to tease.] We could conserve on water. [Bumping his nose against Kimblee's. Not getting closer than that.]
no subject
Wat.]
If you're implying what I think you're implying, absolutely not.
no subject
I know. After the fifth date at least. [Still pretty much messing around.]
You already know I can't be serious about that.
no subject
[A beat.]
I'm thinking you just want to hear me hum again.
