Up for a game?

Who: Radical Edward and her dog Ein, plus anyone who wants to join.
When: Current
Where: Plaza
Style: Starting Action, will follow prose if you prefer.

[A curious sight will greet the visitors of the bubble. A scrawny young girl sitting at a small table in the plaza. The table has two seats, which she is currently occupying one of. On the table is a peculiar fish-themed chess set.]

[The board is set up, but with no moves currently made on it. The black pieces are facing towards the girl. The chair across from her, in front of the white pieces, is currently empty. She is staring at the board, waiting.]

[Next to her, on the ground, is a brown welsh corgi. He seems to be occupying himself by exploring the immediate area around the plaza, but for the most part, sticks within sight distance of the girl at the table.]

Relieved: Very well, good. She can be a handful, I am glad you understand.

[Ein sits down, and watches the spectacle of his User clambering all over the adult troll's horn. It was a good thing she was as light as she was.]

OOooooOOOOoooh! Wingy Wings! Do they let you fly? Or are they for temperature regulation?

[Summoner will feel a finger probing carefully at the top of one of his wings. Ed has to test it, of course.]

Eh heh, yeah, no pro-

Eeuugh- [Quickly shutting his wings and pulling away to face her with a nervous laugh.]

Uh, heh, they, actually work for both. Real smart of you to say, kiddo, eh heh. Just- touch the horns all you want but try to leave the beauties back there alone.

Concerned: Are you alright, Summoner Lysunder?

[The weight on his horn shifts a little bit, away from his wings. Then, Ed was staring at the horn she was on, it was by far the biggest even better then Mr.Such-Hair-Persons!]

Edward will leave the wingies alone, then.

[A small pause as she shifts a little bit more, realigning herself face up.]

Why are your horn thingies so much better then all the other trolls? You easily have the rest of them beat, yep yep! All of them!

Oh, oh yeah, I'm fine. What made ya think I wasn't? [Flashes Ein a small smirk before looking back to Ed. Far bigger than who now? Hahaha.]

Thanks, champ, means a lot. We all have things that make up uncomfortable right? [Maybe, this girl seems pretty okay with a lot judging from what he's seen.]

[Summoner keeps his smile, facing her, his hands on his hips.]

Well, in a lot of things I tend to rise above and uh, take charge. [A smirk.] Guess it's just one of those things.

Concerned Response: It looked as if... Oh, I see. That is good.

[Ein eyes the two of them with a bit of amusement apparent in his canine eyes.]

Ed cannot wear socks. [Said matter-of-factually.]

[She her head to face him and his smile.]

Edward thinks you are a fairy, She will call you Mr.Puck! Lady Edward humbly requests you do not turn her into a donkey.

Uh- sock, right- Mr. Puck? [An odd look. He's missing a reference here.]

[The dangers of talking with an Edward.]

Puck is from a human play you would not have read or seen, of course. He is a fairy, like you!

Do Alternians have plays?

[He squats down again, offering Ein a hand for more pets.]

Ah, Puck, huh. I can deal with that, heh. Trolls do have plays. [Nod.] Not too different from earth ones I don't think, 'cept we uh, we have different types of drama and stuff.

[Which Ein readily accepts.]

Appreciative: Thank you, the kindness is appreciated.

[Ed has been eying the extent of his horns, they really were impressive.]

That is good. Edward only saw plays on the net, but they were fun! People do not really do plays on the Earth very much these days. Mars would be a better bet, more people.

Hey, I enjoy doing it. [Gives him a quick wink before looking back to Ed.] Mars? [Pause, he... read something about other planets in Earth's galaxy, but he doesn't remember too much. Mars sounds familiar though?]

[The Corgi continues to readily accept Summoner's ministrations. Edward, however, was still staring at the horn.]

Mars, he is the God of War! ARrgggh! Or was...

Mars is also the fourth planet that orbits the sun, our home star. Earth is the third, but is not as habitable as it used to be. Too many meteors. Humanity lives all around our solar system now, Mars being the most populous.

[Well Summoner's crouched a bit so it's a little hard to HANG, but when and if she does curl her legs up to actually hang, his head down wrench to the side slightly because dangit girl....]

God of- [Confused.... Yet to read anything about mythology really, or at least hasn't retained anything.] Ah, planets, what's- the other ones? And really? Didn't know humans expanded that far, maybe I should be getting my hands on different books, heh. All the information here sure is confusing sometimes.

[Ed finds ways to do many things that she shouldn't.]

[Summoner Lysunder will feel her adjusting again, the weight lifting off his horn, well mostly.]

[She had been staring for too long, and suddenly was intensely curious about Troll horns. They looked like candy corn, right? She hasn't had candy corn since the orphanage... and well...]

[Have a gangly 13-year-old biting your horn Summoner.]

[The feeling is kinda... hollow, a pressure, it's hard to describe. he doesn't feel much of it, but a lot more than if it was just hands gripping his horn. Quickly he turns his head a little, brows furrow.]

Wha-? Are- [Wings flicker, eyes widening slightly.] Are those your teeth?

Mmmmph-hmmmph!

[Edward was disappointed; This was not candy at all. They should not look like candy if they are not candy, it was not fair. Meanwhile Ein jumps a bit at her latching her teeth into his horn.]

Worried: Oh Dear! She does the strangest things sometimes. Let him go, Ed!

[Ein barks a couple times, trying to get her to dislodge.]

[It's not that they're that heavy? They're just moving a lot, and it's kinda putting a strain on his neck. So he tries to reach out and kinda- well, try to peel Ed off. It ends up being him kind of turning in a circle though.]

Ah Ein, it's okay, I'm fine just- Ed you- you can't eat that. Also it's pretty weird of you do something like this. [A little frantic. But yeah, weird much, Ed, horn touching a biting? Sheesh.]

[After turning in a circle allows herself to fall off after removing her teeth from his horn. It was not her fault that trolls have such fascinating cranial accessories, okay?]

It's not candy at all.

[She seems geninely sad at this turn of events. Ever since she saw all the others she had secretly hoped they were candy... and when she saw Summoner's majestic pair of goalpoats, she could not hold back any longer.]

[Ein immediately walks up to the downed Ed, and places himself on her lap, ostensibly as a means of keeping her from biting him again.]

Aghast: Many apologies, Summoner Lysunder.

It- candy? No it's not, uh, candy. It's a horn, like a few types of animals have. [Okay, but he has to let himself laugh at that, sitting on the ground and just holding his stomach as he gets it out.]

Ah, it's , it's okay Ein. Really, heh. [Slides a hand behind Ein's ears, smiling wide.]

If they were candy I think I probably woulda tried the same thing by now!

Edward knows what a horn is, Mr. Puck. It is just not fair that it looks like candy, but isn't. It is okay, Edward forgives you.

[Ein once again relishes the attention.]

Oh! So you like the Ein-person, too? He certainly seems to like you!

You forgive me for something I can't help, heh, all right. [A laugh.] Can't blame you, my horns are the most appealing set here after all.

Oh? Yeah, uh- Ein...person, he's pretty nice, been talking to him for a bit now. [Smiles over to Ein, scratching him under the muzzle.]

Yeah ya like me, don't ya pooch?

[Edward vigorously nods in response to him calling his the most appealing set of horns. It was true, after all.]

Oh! You talk to the Ein-person, too? Ed talks to him all the time! He is like a little, furry-person. He is the best puppy. Ever.

[Ein Barks in response to Summoner's question. One for yes.]

Really-?

[Does she mean talk talk or... what. It's really hard to tell.]

[He looks down at chuckles.]

She mean that or am I just uh, going a little crazy?

Yep yep! All the time! Like right now, even!

[The dangers of communicating with an excited Edward.]

Reassuring: She cannot speak with me on the level you can, Summoner Lysunder. The User is most presumably referring to normal speaking, which she does do a considerable amount of, even to me. Subject is unsure of User's full level of comprehension of my altered mental abilities.

Ah...ah huh. Well, Ein says he can understand you, but I'm not sure if you know exactly what uh, Ein person is saying. Why don't we play a game?

[Edward stands up, keeping Ein in her arms.]

[Any thoughts Ed had on the subject are immediately forgotten at mention of a game. She excitedly throws the pooch a short way into the air, carefully catching him on the way back down and twirling in a circle.]

A game! We are gonna play a game with Mr. Puck! Game-y Game!

[She stops her twirling to look Summoner.]
