Up for a game?

Who: Radical Edward and her dog Ein, plus anyone who wants to join.
When: Current
Where: Plaza
Style: Starting Action, will follow prose if you prefer.
Status: Open-tastic

[A curious sight will greet the visitors of the bubble. A scrawny young girl sitting at a small table in the plaza. The table has two seats, which she is currently occupying one of. On the table is a peculiar fish-themed chess set.]

[The board is set up, but with no moves currently made on it. The black pieces are facing towards the girl. The chair across from her, in front of the white pieces, is currently empty. She is staring at the board, waiting.]

[Next to her, on the ground, is a brown welsh corgi. He seems to be occupying himself by exploring the immediate area around the plaza, but for the most part, sticks within sight distance of the girl at the table.]

Washu nods as she contemplates the board for several minutes. When she moves her next piece, she claims one of Edward's pawns.

"Sorry~. If it makes you feel better, he won't be alone for very long."

Interesting maneuver. Washu smiles as she studies her options. Either loose her knight or the piece that captured the pawn. Clever little child. However, there's another option. Washu moves her second knight into place. If Ed takes the other knight, this one could easily swoop in and take Ed's piece.

A knight for a knight~. IF she goes for that piece. Otherwise, Washu would only be loosing a pawn.

Washu could easily see that angle among all the others. Normally, that might have worked if Washu wasn't aware of how intelligent Edward actually was.

That, and this was starting to become more interesting then the last time she played this game~.

Instead of moving any of the pieces in battle, she opted to move a pawn on the opposite side of the board.

"Good, the entire goal is to enjoy yourself."

She watches as Ed castles her king and raises an eyebrow a bit. That was a fun move, she'll admit that. And useful. Washu observes the board for a few more moments before moving one of her bishops to take out one of Ed's pawns.

Ed's move amuses her a little as she quickly takes her bishop and claims another of her opponents pieces.
crabbygenius: (you know.)

If Washu had to guess, she would guess that Ed was doing both crazy random moves that were part of some plan of hers. And she was probably right.

Sh studies the board for a few more moments before moving a pawn she had been holding back. Even though there was strategy to her moves, they could be viewed as just as random as Eds at times.

Edward's chaotic style was definitely interesting and nearly impossible to predict. It was hit or miss really and that just made the game all that more interesting for the ageless scientist.

Though, once Ed passes up the chance to force the queens out, she's immediately curious to see what the girl will do next. Was it an over sight or was she planning something?

She tapped her finger against her lips for a few moments, taking her time to come up with a few different scenarios before finally moving a piece. The piece? A simple knight. And surprisingly, not taking one of Ed's pieces this time.
