Who: Ryoko Asakura and YOU. Or anyone who runs into her.
When: Backdated to Saturday Afternoon. (aka Jan. 5th)
Where: Up on the island.
Style: Brackets, cause lazy, but can switch to prose.
Status: Open.
[It's cold, but sunny, up on the island. Which is perfectly fine for Asakura. There's snow in the area she can be found in, and she's pretty sure she won't be bothered here either.
Or there was snow, as the teen has been testing out something while she's been up here.]
Ah... I see.
[She's talking to herself too. Holding a hunk of ice in one hand, while a small spot, no more than six inches really, near her is snowless as she's breathing a bit heavily. Doing something that simple took a bit out of her, but hey!
It's not gonna stop her from tossing the ice in a random direction before crouching down to get some more snow to try again. So one may see what looks like bright motes of light as Asakura is doing this or... end up getting beaned by her discarded ice hunks.]

For how chipper he's been acting since his arrival, he's having a rare moment of quiet, reflective sadness. His heart is aching more than he wants to admit, the lack of his clansmen or even a familiar face (aside from Yata who made it clear he wanted nothing to do with the Silver King) making him feel even more lonely than usual.
Strange how just a couple of weeks around people can erase over fifty years of self imposed solitude.
So he was completely lost in his thoughts, and it wasn't until a chunk of ice pinged off his protective shielding and roused him from his thoughts. Blinking, he looked around for the source, peering down curiously at the girl playing in the snow.]

This shouldn't be so... tiresome.
[Yashiro may hear her talking to herself but the more interesting thing is what is going on with the snow she picked up. It seems to flicker, like a computer screen, with little spots of light before it's not snow anymore but a piece of ice very similar to the one that had ping he's shield.]
Ah... still not big enough. [And thunk, she drops it instead of throwing it before she stretches and... turns to face the direction Yashiro is in.
Not that she sees him, or she might as she stares in that direction for much too long.]

He blinks a few times when she turns, but when it doesn't seem like she sees him, he simply drops out of his branch and floats down.]
Having trouble, miss?
no subject
No, I am merely testing something, Mister.
[And she's just a bit on guard, she didn't really want it to be well known that she can manipulate data here even if it's just a little bit.]

He opens his parasol and puts it over his shoulder, even if it has no real affect on how he's currently moving. He goes down a bit lower, but keeps himself above the snow, the loose shoes on his feet not fit for tromping around in the cold.
He was still curious about what she was doing, but the fact that she seemed quietly guarded didn't escape him.]
Oh, you don't have to be so formal. You can call me Shiro.
no subject
[She says his name slowly, as if making sure she's saying right before she smiles a bit.
And hey, he's not the only one poorly dressed for the snow. Asakura is in a skirt and short sleeved shirt with plain flats for shoes, but other than the fact she was breathing heavily and looks a bit worn out? She doesn't seem to bothered by the cold.]
You're Japanese then?
no subject
He smiled and nodded, crossing his legs in mid air.]
Yes. Isana Yashiro, but I'm just fine with being called Shiro. And you are?
no subject
[She'll give a slight bow as she says her name, and then she'll stand straight and maybe stare at Shiro a bit too long before she speaks again.]
If it's not to rude to ask, you're not human are you?
no subject
[The question gets a laugh, but he sort of expected something like that to eventually come up.]
A gifted human, but human none the less.
no subject
[She's not laughing, but then again back in her world "gifted" humans are a unique kind of folks. And hey, she had to check! Better to outright ask.]
That's interesting to know.
no subject
[Not that he's offended. Really, that sort of talk can apply to any of the Kings or their clansmen.]
What does that make you then?
no subject
[It's pretty plain an simple, although she isn't going to explain what and ESPer is since well. Gifted Human covers it, really.]
An alien, to put it simply, Shiro.
no subject
[Shiro tilted his head to the side, looking thoughtful.]
Extra sensory perception. I can see how you would make the comparison, given the broadness of the term. I think the term Silver King suits me much better, if we're giving out titles.
[There's no real smugness to his smirk, but there's still that hint of knowing that he is important. At least back home.]
An alien? My, this city certainly has an interesting menagerie of beings!
no subject
And her expression isn't so smiley anymore at hearing that word. Oh she's used to being considered a thing to be controlled and pulled out for special occasions, but menagerie brings up different thoughts.]
Hm, I see. And just what can a "Silver King" do, hm?
[She's not hostile, but curious. If Shiro could be a threat knowing what he can do is a good thing, and all he knows that she can do is make ice.]
no subject
It depends on the situation, Asakura-san.
no subject
[She's asking instead of trying to force it out, which is a miracle for her to do considering she's an impatient little nutter.]
Other than the floating, of course, that is self-explanatory.
no subject
[Now the smirk is actually a smug one, but done in such a way that to anyone not privy to the conversation, he looks as though he's giving her a simple, pleasant and almost cute smile.]
You wouldn't be attempting to size up my abilities for your own purposes, would you? You, who seem so interested in testing your own alone on this island. Why should I show you my hand so easily when we've just met?
That's just foolish, for both a King and a simple teenage boy.
[Adolf what are you doing, stop prodding the alien.]
no subject
[And she's back to smiling that oddly unnerving smile of hers, the one she's worn whilst trying to stab someone... Not that Shiro knows that.]
no subject
[He might not know it, no, but it's still a smile he can recognize. He saw it on several people from HOMURA when they were attempting to bash his head in.
Yet he's still poking the clearly volatile alien. GJ, Shiro...]
no subject
[Since she means she'll follow Shiro around and watch his every movement or...
Well, she'll attack him at some random time. But for now she's just smiling.]
no subject
B u t... if that's the case, then I wouldn't want to spoil things on your end either, would I?
no subject
Maybe, maybe not. Although I'd rather know if you're interesting enough to pay attention to now before I waste my time later.
no subject
[He lets out a suffering-sounding sigh, looking terribly put off at that.]
All Kings have special abilities, but there's only seven Kings in existence. I, as the First and Silver King draw most of my power from that of gravity, as you can probably tell.
What that entails, I'll leave to you and your curiosity to draw out.
no subject
And now she's going to turn to go back to what she had been doing before Shiro made himself known to her.]
Maybe, maybe not. But I have things to practice now, so goodbye.
no subject
Probably for the best. If Kuroh was there he'd probably be yelling at him to knock it off and quit trying to get in trouble.]
Very well. I'll leave you to it.
