It has not been a fun week for Zack, and unbeknownst to him, it's likely going to get a lot worse.

His mood has been up and down and all over the place as he's suffered from some random bouts of anger, laziness (which given how energetic he is is super bizarre) and hunger pangs. Today had started off seemingly normal enough, but it all went to hell when he stepped outside and got a look at some of the pretty locals.

Now, he's entertaining some rather dirty thoughts, and the normally flirtatious man is finding himself staring and, if compelled, hitting on quite a few females. And where once thoughts of Aerith would keep those urges quite in check, she's hardly a blip on his horny radar today.

In short: approach with caution, ladies. Guys... you're probably safe. Unless you're really pretty...

Ky hasn't been experiencing anything in particular -- and was asleep the last time this happens -- so he just smiles politely at Zack when he sees him, and heads over to him.

Always good to check up with people who are technically under his chain of command, right? "Hello. Are you feeling all settled in?"

Zack glances over his shoulder at Ky when he hears him approach. A superior of sorts, and a very handsome one at that.

Were his eyes always such a striking color?

"Oh yeah. Very settled. And comfortable." He flashes him a grin. "Very comfortable."

Ky looks back, earnest, blue-green eyes the same as they've always been -- and not really anything of note, in Ky's own mind.

"I'm very glad to hear that. If there's anything that you could use help with in terms of settling in, I'd be happy to offer my assistance. Vatheon's a little unique, and settling into a new place can always be difficult."

But they're so pretty~~

"Assistance, huh?" Ky, start running. "What'd you have in mind for that?"

Nope. They're perfectly ordinary and functional eyes. They do the job, so he doesn't complain about them.

"It would really be dependent on what you felt would help."

"Some company wouldn't hurt. You know, some fellow soldier, guy on guy quality time."

He doesn't mean anything else by that but completely innocent intentions. Of course not. What double entendre?

Ky wouldn't pick up anything other than the innocent, but he still looks a little confused by the question. What is needing some sort of social interaction? He doesn't get that sort of thing.

"I'm not sure I'm the best for that, but certainly I can try. We could patrol together, if you want." That's good with company, right?

"Patrol, huh? Sure. You can show me the ropes and all that."

He gives him a "friendly" wink. Zack, no. Stop that.

Ky just brightens at the idea of it.

"There's really nothing complex with it, but I'd be happy to accompany you. Are you fine with what you have with you, or would you like to stop by your apartment to change?"

"Not complex, no. But two pairs of eyes are better than one, right? And I haven't totally familiarized myself with the city yet."

Hmmm... he sees an opportunity here.

"I better go back and get changed, if you don't mind. And you can see my place while we're at it."

Run, Ky.

This is probably one of those social things, where people care about looking at each other place's. Ky spent a lot of his life in church orphanages or in tents moving around a battlefield, and those didn't follow quite the same rules. Still, he's familiar with the idea, and Zack had seemed to want company more than anything else.

Ky's not going to be so rude as to refuse to him, even if he's not sure of what the purpose of this particular ritual is. Perhaps he'll find out.

"It would be my pleasure."

[ Riku hadn't actually gotten out much after the incident with Sora. He figures if he tries avoiding as many people as possible, the curse wouldn't actually affect him as badly. Things happen though, and he's too restless to keep sitting around doing nothing.

So, he's overly cautious about running into people or casually touching them in any way. Funny enough, Riku actually recognizes Zack by his shoes first, having ducked his head to watch the ground and skirt around the few people that happen to be around.

He looks up, gives him a half-smile. ]

Hey, Zack.

[Now there was a face he wasn't expecting. And when he looks up, he's surprised at just how cute Riku is. And handsome, with a couple more years.

Oh yes, he's very attractive, but a bit young for Zack's tastes yet.]

Riku, right? How you holding up?

[ ...he's not that young. Ever heard of something called age of consent? But he just shrugs in response. ] Yeah. I didn't think I'd see anyone around.

[ Because everyone keeps to themselves when there are curses happening. Yes, Riku. :| ]

[Legally, no. But by Zack's standards, he is. He does have them.]

Oh, why's that? Something going on that I'm not aware of?

[ A blink. ]

There's some sort of curse going around. Haven't you noticed?

Has there been?

[...Now that he thinks about it, that might explain the strange behavior the past week.]

Huh. I guess I haven't. Say, [He claps a hand on Riku's shoulder.] wanna fill me in, then? I noticed a couple strange posts, but... we have some strange people here.

[Though her time stuck in the mermaid tail thankfully didn't last long, Tifa is still enjoying having the use of her legs again. Yes, miniskirts are definitely best for getting around.

She spots the two boys from across the street and after a moment's pause, decides to walk over.]

Hey, you two. Looks like you were spared? [At least, neither of them has cat ears, or anything obvious like that.]

[ Well here's someone he was hoping to see in better days apart from talking about sleep comas. So he approaches with a grin, jamming his hands in his pockets. ]

Zack! How've you been?

[It's the funny talking guy! But no, seriously Ronald, he's glad to see you, too. Although for entirely different reasons.]

Hey. Not too bad. How about you? You're lookin' pretty good, at least.

[Please don't hit him.]

[ Have a smirk back from that. Nope. No hitting will happen. All good. ]

You aren't looking too bad yourself. Good to see you in better spirits at least. How's the city been treating you?

Pretty well. Nice to wake up after nine hours and not two weeks.

I hear you. Bit of a relief every time I wake up and it's just the next day.

[ A grin back, jamming his hands in his pockets. ]

What's got you out and about today then?

Oh, you know. Stretching my legs, enjoying the sights...

[~~Of sexy people~~.]

[ Arm on shoulder, smirking in the direction of a rather leggy local walking by. ]

Just going around here and there in my case. Keeping busy is all.

Indeed it is.

[Of course he notices the same leggy individual. And of course he's staring at their fine assets.]

Care to keep busy with a walk? Take in more sights?

Now there's a suggestion.

[ Smirking back, jamming his hands in his pockets. ]

I've got a bit of time to spare.

Then let's make good use of it. Which way?

[...okay, this might turn into him checking out people shamelessly with a partner, but hey, he won't complain. Good looking people all around him? Score.]

Wallace wasn't sure who the new man was. He was curious to meet him as he walked over to the spiky-haired man.

"Hello there. I don't think we've met have we?"

A new face! Rather handsome, but Zack's Lust radar hasn't gone off... yet. "Don't think so. The name's Zack. And yours?"

"I am Wallace of Hoenn. Nice to meet you, Zack." He held out a hand to shake the other man's. "That's a nice hairdo you've got there."

He shakes his hand and nods, beaming that charming smile of his. "Ah, thanks. I could say the same about yours, you know." Not to mention the color...

"Mine? Oh, I see." Wallace blushed some. He did take pride in his appearance. For his fans and during battle, he always wanted to look his best. "Do you use hair gel to make it spiky?"

"Gel? Ha, no. It's like this naturally. Got it styled a bit when I cut my hair, but the spikes are real."

"Really? It's real? How amazing. My hair is natural too but nothing like yours." Wallace looked at the young man's hair in awe.

"Yeah, I guess so. I never thought much about it."

He always focused on other aspects to attract people, like his eyes and smile. And body language. His hair had never seemed like a major source of attraction.

"Well, I'm sure you have a lot of girls admiring you, Zack." Wallace smirked. He knew what that felt like.
