Hunched over one of the tables, Heat seemed to be busy at work with something. He hadn't been aware of this whole 'christmas' and 'gift-giving' thing until the day had passed. But he didn't seem to be letting that stop him from doing, well... something. He pulled a frayed ribbon into a bow on the last package, and looked at it with a smirk, apparently proud of his own handywork. He had taken great care with that one, standing back to admire how it looked atop the others.
The gifts ranged in size and shape, and the paper that covered them was unmatching and torn, then taped together awkwardly, some of them with bits of ribbon taped on as well. But the last one was certainly the 'best' if it could even be called that... Beneath the table, there seemed to be a puddle forming, dark and thick -- as something seemed to be leaking out from them.
Heat took a step back, hands on his hips as he admired the stack of presents, feeling accomplished at the completion of his task.
