Sick as a dog....

When: A few hours after Riku's fight with Roxas.

[ Sora was laying in bed, his head was pounding and it felt both hot and cold in the room at the same time. He was wrapped tightly under his blankets and he'd heard the sound of Riku leaving and the dogs barking but his head had hurt to much to try and really comprehend what was going on.

It was rare for him to get sick but sick he was. It may have been the snow that did it, or it could have been part of the curse that seemed to be going around. Either way he was one miserable hero of light. ]

There's nothing we can do. We're going to be stuck like this until the curse lets us go.

[ Really there were worse things. ]

[overashadow]

Okay... [ He probably sounds so reluctant about it too. Still holding the cup, Riku leans over - with Sora stuck to him - and sets it on the floor beside the bed. ] I guess we might as well make the best of it.

[ Which means he's camping out. No way is he carrying your heavy butt anywhere, buddy. ]

Whoa! [ Sora cried out as he was moved around. ]

Riku you're going to get sick!

[ As if they had a choice in any of this. ]

[overashadow]

If I was gonna get sick, it would have happened already. [ He moves a little, using his free hand to scoot further onto the bed. ] Come on. I need your help to make this work.

[ Sora made a face, but he did as Riku asked. He shifted back and pulled with his hand since he was already stuck to Riku anyway. At least there was enough room, but this of course meant a cat or two would be out of a bed for awhile. ]

...Riku...

[ And that's when Sora noticed something. There was an odd smell to Riku's hair and skin, besides that his hair was still a little damp. ]

Riku why's your hair wet?

[overashadow]

[ He literally freezes up for a second, and then, when he relaxes, he drops his head into the pillow. Don't mind him making himself as comfortable as he can despite the fact Sora is stuck to him. At least it's not too awkward... ]

Don't worry about it, Sora. You need to sleep.

[ Sora frowned. With a reaction like that it was exactly something he needed to worry about it. Despite them already being stuck so close together he leaned in a bit further and took in a deep breath of his best friends smell. ]

But you don't smell like you've come out of the shower. You smell...murky.

[overashadow]

[ He should know that Sora isn't going to leave it alone until he tells him something convincing, but Riku doesn't feel like being too terribly in-depth with his explanation. He goes to push him away but remembers that if he does, they'll end up stuck like that too. So, he sighs. ]

I was outside for a while. [ He closes his eyes. ] I'll do something about it when we're not stuck together, okay?

Outside?

[ Sora frowned. It was cold outside and Riku was wet. What could he have been doing outside? That would have been one helluva snow ball fight! ]

But...It's not that I mind...

[ And really he didn't. Sora was just concerned. ]
