[ One could say that the night of the body swap was the start of it all. Truth be told, the doctor never thought much of that familiar flavor surrounding his newest colleague until that night. It was only when he experienced it for himself that he realized just what that flavor was. It was demonic, deeply so, and even more powerful than he had imagined. Such untapped power, one that could sustain him for quite a long time.

It had been a while since he last had a little muscle to bolster his hunts.

So it had been a month running behind the scenes: a small spell wound about his clinic, one that was tailor fit to bolster the dark energies swirling within Yukio, careful observation... and a quick dose of scopolamine when he had invited his colleague over to his office for some tea to celebrate his birthday as they were the only ones that remained that late night.

The later pits of the evening found them in the darker parts of the forest. The doctor had managed to lure his prey out where no one could see. There was the faintest glow through the trees as he quietly chanted the words to his spell, using it to draw out the darker taint of Yukio's innate abilities. Though Kazutaka had been stripped of his summoning abilities due to the coral's influence, he could most certainly make contact with a demon instead of summoning it. ]

[Let it be said that Yukio Okumura does not have a good sense of judging one's character. If he did, he would of not believed his fellow doctor nor would he easily accepted the other doctor's lies about having medicinal preventives for demon genetics. As it were- Yukio did have a bad sense of judgement and desperate times call for desperate measures. In his desperation Yukio had believed in the Doctor's lies and took the placebo's that were offered to him, and like most people whom have been given placebo's Yukio thought that they were working. It wasn't until the week where he had to face his nightmare did he come to terms that the medicine that he had been taking hadn't been working, and the offering to join Muraki for a cup of tea would be a perfect time to confront the doctor about the placebo's. With that in mind Yukio had stayed behind long enough until everyone was gone and they were the only one's left behind in the test labs.]

Doctor Muraki? Thank you for inviting me to join you in your celebration of your birthday. I have been meaning to talk to you about the dosages you been prescribing.
