[It's been a very long time since he's had to gather groceries for himself, and remembering how to cook has been a difficult path to tread. Still, it's almost refreshing to fill his time with shopping and managing his apartment rather than the endless desperation he's used to. For the first time in a long time, he feels like he may be living rather than just surviving.

He hardly notices when he's maneuvering around a stand at the grocery, and his elbow bumps into that of a boy behind him - or rather, he doesn't until his elbow doesn't come away. He gives a slight tug, and turns to look at the other person with a brow quirked.]

[effeminacy]

[All right, this is good! Nice, normal life... In a bubble. But still! Better than a horror world of art, right? Garry's going about as carefully as possible after what Bianca told him, but he can't avoid people completely. He needs food to eat, of course.

As awkward as he is, he's getting by without any accidents until-- Oh, dear.]

Are you... Stuck?

[corporealizing]

[He's stunned for a moment, caught completely off-guard, and gives his elbow another small, fruitless tug. It doesn't come away.

He really isn't used to this sort of unreal thing - something completely unrelated to reality as he's come to understand it. He turns as best he can, green eyes meeting up with those of the boy he's attached to for the moment.]

It seems that way. Do you have any idea why this is happening?

[effeminacy]

I do! [And for a moment, he's so excited about knowing what's going on, for once, that he smiles... But then it fades away to a look of concern. Knowing what's up doesn't change the fact that they're stuck together.] Um, I've heard it's quite the problem here lately... People keep getting stuck when they touch!

Sollux | Beenary

[He can't help but be interested in the entire concept of a computer system that works on the predictable chaos of the movements of bees, despite how ridiculous the entire concept sounds. It's something he has to see in action to understand or appreciate, he imagines.

So he quickly agreed to meet Sollux in person so he could see his system (though how he intended to transport a bee-based computer system to his apartment, he wasn't sure) and was making a pot of tea in preparation for company while he waited for the troll to show up.]

[Sollux is always interested in showing off his knowledge, and learning stuff about coding. Other coding nerds might not be up to his level, but it's entirely possible that Lu Shen is less useless with programming than, say, Karkat. So it's worthwhile at least checking it out.

He lands outside the hive where Lu Shen said he lived and knocks on the door.

Transportation of bee hives is no big deal with captchalogues.]

[He's at least adjusted to seeing trolls, and despite the instinctive association with Sin and Abyss due to the grey skin and bright contrasting colors, he's very aware that they're different things.

So when Sollux arrives at the door and knocks, he answers it, just ducking his head in greeting and glancing around to see where this computer setup is.]

Come in. I've put on tea - is that the sort of thing you drink?

[He's curious about the computer system, but he doesn't mention it, his voice just lightly questioning.]

[Sollux doesn't appear to be holding anything. But that's the thing with captchalogues. He smiles curiously when Lu Shen answers the door, and nods]

Sure, I like tea just fine, thanks.

[He enters the house, glancing around.] Anywhere in particular you want me to set it up?
