After his encounters with Barry, Fai needed to get out of the apartment. It had been a long start to the week and already he knew that the road ahead was going to be rather long and dangerous. So once he knew that Johnny was going to be okay..or as okay as he possibly could be given the situation..Fai headed out to get some supplies for the apartment.

As he walked down the street, Fai looked up at the bubble. Unfortunately, walking like that means that eventually you will run into someone..and currently that was a particularly bad thing to do because of the random curse that seemed to be going on.

Another pause and Dwight lets out a little sigh, "I...really don't want to say this but...we might have to sit for a bit." He's stuck awkwardly to Fai and his back and shoulder are starting to tense up.

"Okay~ Let's find somewhere nice to sit and relax." Fai takes the lead at this point and brings Dwight over to what he deems a nice area to sit. Fai would normally just plop down but he makes sure to wait for Dwight since they are very much attached and plopping down would probably end badly for the both of them.

So considerate, Fai. Dwight follows rather willingly, ducking a branch or two before sitting down carefully. He stretches his long legs out and cracks his neck, staring up at the canopy.

"Thanks."

Now that he's comfortable he looks at the other blond for a moment before giving a short smirk, "Still hard to imagine monster battles as everyday for anyone."

Fai settles next to Dwight and folds his legs beneath him for the moment. "There are some pretty rough worlds out there. I prefer to avoid the fighting so I left it to my companions. But sometimes it was inevitable. Would you like to see one of those worlds?"

It's an interesting idea; one that Dwight pauses a bit to think on. Not all monsters had fur, fangs and multiple eyes though. He knew he'd fought a few in his world that looked like Joe Average. After a few moments he just shakes his head.

"I've seen enough fighting. I'll stick to stories until I get back home."

"Listening to the stories is more fun anyway~" Fai gave Dwight's arm a little hug. "Your turn to tell a story. I've already told too many of mine."

"My stories? Hmm...I don't have any that are interesting." Give him a bit, he's been under 'don't tell' for so long it's a bad habit.

"Not about monster hunting. Deer hunting, yeah."

"Deer hunting? Did you do that just for fun or was that for food?" Fai was curious. They hadn't had to do a lot of hunting in their travels. They usually found themselves in towns that were already established.

"Just for fun." He stares out at the woods a moment, "Though we did eat the meat. No use it going to waste." Fishing, hiking, hunting...outdoorsy was pretty typical in Haven.

"Bow hunting only." Because...yeah guns were bad.

"I don't think I'd do very well at that. AHh..well maybe i would. I got pretty good at darts. And that's just a moving target, right?" And with a significantly bigger weapon then a dart. Though, those darts did come in pretty handy in a fight.

"Moving targets are easier to hit." he holds up his arms as though he had his faithful crossbow in hand, "Just need to anticipate where your target is going to head next."

Though darts..."Well, a bow has a bit of a kick back when you fire it."He absently rubbed his scruffy cheek, "And can fight back too."

"Waaah~ Sounds like too much work." And Fai is terribly lazy. He flops backwards, pulling Dwight down with him so that he can lay down. "How does it fight back?"

Ack! Dwight just gives a little oof and squirms a bit. Lazy is not a thing Dwight does very well. He likes being on the move and doing all sorts of things.

"First time I strung a bow, the string snapped back and caught me on the cheek."

Fai couldn't help himself. He laughs at that and shifts a little so he is comfortable despite their stuckness. Dwight is going to have to deal with a little bit of laziness at the moment. Continuing to hug Dwight's arm, Fai curls up on his side so he can see the other man. "It really did bite you! Such a mean bow~"

And cuddles too apparently...he can deal with the lazy part easily at least. He shifts a little, but remembers they're stuck together. So moving away isn't really going to do much.

"Not the worst I've had." Stare..., "We'll have to get up eventually."

Fai's a clingy one~. That just causes him to snuggle closer. He's feeling particularly playful since Dwight seems to be resisting. "It's relaxing time! We're putting the forest to a test to see if it's safe for people to relax in."

Snuggles, really? Dwight is going to tug his arm a little bit.

"I'm not good at relaxing. It'd be a swayed test." Why does he meet the people with playful streaks? At least Dwight isn't easily (if ever) annoyed. He's just...a bit of a tolerant grump.

Fai likes the grumpy ones. They are the most fun. Careful, Dwight. Fai isn't afraid of pouncing you even if the current stuck thing makes it difficult.

"You need to learn! Relaxing is fun~ It's nice to be lazy once in awhile and forget all about your stresses."

The Cleaner just quirks an eyebrow, somehow he gets the vaguest feeling that Fai is enjoying this a little too much.

"I can't afford to relax. There might be...demonic ant eaters in these woods."

Fai pauses and that gets a little quirk of his head. Then he busts out laughing. "Demonic ant eaters?" The thought of them being chased by an ant easier is clearly amusing to him.

"I'll protect you fro many demonic ant eaters if you take a moment to relax~"

"Hey, weirder stuff has happened."Then again, maybe Fai doesn't know about Big Foot. Dwight raises an eyebrow, looking the clinging blonde up and down. He doesn't think that Fai is lying but it might give him a 'oneup' on this teasing thing if he pretends.

"Yeah. No thanks. I'll take my chances with the ant eaters."

"Waah~ D-chan is so mean. He doesn't trust me to protect him." Fai pouts and pretends to be upset. He can't remove himself completely but he does release Dwight enough to roll onto his other side as best he could. With his back to Dwight he tries to make the other believe he is unhappy.

The movement makes Dwight shift and he just sort of smirks to himself. He raised a kid once, he can deal with pouting pretty easy. "I'm the one who does the protecting. It used to be my job." Though he will poke Fai on the back of the head.

Fai whines and reaches up to cover the back of his head with one hand. "Does that mean, Dsquatch will protect me from evil ant-eaters? But if you do the protecting then you'll never relax and everyone deserves to relax once in awhile."

Those nicknames...Dwight is just going to chuckle dryly. "Yeah. I've got your six." The whole irony here is that Dwight is actually a bit more relaxed then he would be given the situation. Fai's antics doing a great deal to help with that. Dwight is a fun loving guy under all the mellow grumpyness.
