After his encounters with Barry, Fai needed to get out of the apartment. It had been a long start to the week and already he knew that the road ahead was going to be rather long and dangerous. So once he knew that Johnny was going to be okay..or as okay as he possibly could be given the situation..Fai headed out to get some supplies for the apartment.

As he walked down the street, Fai looked up at the bubble. Unfortunately, walking like that means that eventually you will run into someone..and currently that was a particularly bad thing to do because of the random curse that seemed to be going on.

"It is good to see you again, Fai." He smiled. The last time they had met was under another curse. A rather pleasurable one at that. Wallace still had strong memories of their night together. "How are you fairing? I've just been doing a bit of art."

[behind_my_smile]

"It's good to see you too." Fai's memories of that night were also strong. He had never done anything like that before in his very long life so it was hard to forget.

"It's been an exciting few weeks. What have you been drawing?"

"Indeed. I have been drawing landmarks and views surrounding this world." He opened up his sketch pad and showed Fai what he'd been doing. Sketches of the bubble itself and various ways the light reflected on the water above.

"Those are very good." Fai looked over them, once again impressed by Wallace's skill. "Do you hang them up anywhere or just keep them to look at once in awhile?"

[champ_coordinator]

"Thank you, Fai. I'm glad you like them." He gave the other man a smile. "I do hang some up in my residence and the others I keep in here safe."

[behind_my_smile]

"Where were you off to now?" Fai relaxed a little. He did enjoy Wallace's company but their previous meeting had left him uncertain about what to do should he ever encounter the man again. It seemed today was the day he would get his answer.

"Where? Oh, no where in particular. I just like to explore and wander sometims." He smiled. Wandering was Wallace's specialty. "What about you, Fai?"

[behind_my_smile]

"I just needed to get out of the apartment for awhile, so I decided to take a walk. I didn't really have a destination." Fai just couldn't handle the events of the last few days. He had to clear his head and try to collect his thoughts.

"The same with me. There is so much wonder in a place like this that I just like to wander and explore." He smiled brightly.

[behind_my_smile]

"I haven't explored in awhile. I've been too busy working and other things that have come up. It's good to be able to get out and just walk once in awhile." Fai liked to stay busy but he also liked to be lazy. Today he was giving himself a lazy day.

[champ_coordinator]

Wallace nodded. "I couldn't agree more. I've been sketching and painting the scenery around Vatheon. Do you know if there are any art galleries or aquariums around Vatheon?"

[behind_my_smile]

"I'm actually not sure. Maybe you could start an art gallery. I'm sure there are other artists here that would be interested in taking part." Fai tried to think if he had seen any aquariums but that did seem like an odd thing to have in a bubble.

[champ_coordinator]

"That sounds like a good idea." Wallace nodded. "Perhaps I will enquire locally and see if any art galleries will take my paintings and such. I would like to add something to Vatheon if I can."

[behind_my_smile]

"I'm sure you'll find a good place to display them. And I'll make sure and come to see them~" Fai looked pleased that he could offer a helpful suggestion.

"Thank you, Fai. It means a lot to me." He nodded. It did. Fai had shown him nothing but kindness since he first met Wallace.

[behind_my_smile]

"Anytime~ Ah, since we didn't really have a destination, how about we get a snack or a drink?" Fai could use some calm company compared to the crazy ones he has had to deal with lately.

[champ_coordinator]

"That sounds wonderful. I'm up for that." Wallace nodded keenly. He enjoyed spending time with Fai. "Anywhere in particular?"

[behind_my_smile]

"Hmm..there is a nice little cafe just down the street. We can go there and have something tasty." Fai liked sweets and that place had some of the best ones.

[champ_coordinator]

"Oh really? That sounds interesting and tasty." He added with a smile. "I'll follow your lead then, Fai."

[behind_my_smile]

"Right this way~" Fai headed in the direction of the cafe. It wasn't very far away and he waved to the servers as he walked in. He came here fairly regularly so they knew him and escorted him to a quiet corner table.

Wallace was pleased that Fai was taking him around the restaurant. He hadn't forgotten their quiet encounter they had shared a few days ago. "Thank you for doing this, Fai. It means a lot to me." Wallace placed his hand over Fai's in a friendly gesture.

And that pulls Fai to a stop. He flinched a little as the realization that he was stuck to another person hit him. Fai looked over at Wallace with a smile much weaker then he normally showed.

"Ah..Wallace-san..you probably shouldn't have touched me."

Wallace couldn't hide the confusion and hurt that crossed his face. "But why? I thought we are friends after the night we shared....." He wasn't sure why Fai didn't want Wallace to touch him.

[behind_my_smile]

"Because there is a curse going on." Fai saw the disappointment and felt a little bad but it was going to make things difficult. "You're stuck to me now. It seems to only last for a day but it looks like we'll be going everywhere together now."

"There is? Oh...." Wallace swallowed. "Forgive me, Fai. I had no idea. I didn't mean to inconvenience you. Although, I do like being with you." A blush came to his cheeks.
