After his encounters with Barry, Fai needed to get out of the apartment. It had been a long start to the week and already he knew that the road ahead was going to be rather long and dangerous. So once he knew that Johnny was going to be okay..or as okay as he possibly could be given the situation..Fai headed out to get some supplies for the apartment.

As he walked down the street, Fai looked up at the bubble. Unfortunately, walking like that means that eventually you will run into someone..and currently that was a particularly bad thing to do because of the random curse that seemed to be going on.

Johnny's face, clothing, smell, everything looked like the vampire as he stepped into the room. "Thanks."

The moment he was inside Barry dropped the visage so it was only himself standing there in his gray suit and fur cape.

"I was hoping you'd let me in."

Just as Fai was about to ask Johnny why he was there, the image before him changed. His eye widened and he took several steps back, activating his vampire powers in that instant. "What are you doing here?" That really was a pointless question. Fai already knew the answer and was kicking himself for being so easily fooled.

He glanced at the door and considered running toward it to lock it, hopefully trapping Barry inside his room.

Barry smiled at Fai's reaction. "I came to see Johnny, but it seems I found your room instead."

He turned around in a circle to get a good look at the room.

"I hope you don't mind." Though considering their last meeting Barry was sure Fai did mind.

"Of course I mind..this is my room and I don't think Johnny will argue with me if I saw that we don't want you in our home." Not that Fai believed that was going to count for much in regards to Barry.

Those nails started to grow as Fai activated his vampire abilities. He wasn't going to take any chances. He had to keep Barry away from Johnny.

Barry looked over at Fai and the claws that had grown out from his nails.

The ex-magician was good at hiding secrets that much was for certain. He still wasn't too sure what else Fai was, but he was obviously something more than human. Barry supposed this had to do with being from different worlds, but he'd figure it out eventually.

"What do you plan on doing with those claws, kitten?" Barry smiled. He looked completely unshaken.

"Tear you apart, if I have to. I'd prefer to not resort to violence but I already know that you aren't afraid to. I'd like to be prepared for anything. If you leave now, then we wouldn't have to resort to such things.."

And Fai wasn't going to let him leave this room through that door if he could help it.

"That didn't do much good for your friend." Barry smiled. "What makes you think you'd do any better?"

He took a step back towards the door keeping his eyes on Fai.

"I'm already inside, do you really think you could stop me? Addy is mine."

"If I have to I will." And Fai is already moving quickly to pin himself between Barry and that door. Luckily he has that speed of being a vampire on his side. He intends to flatten himself against that door. If Barry wants out, he will literally have to go through him.

"And there is a difference between me and Sola. I've always been ready for death and I don't have nearly as much to live for." If Kurogane heard him say those words he would have gotten hit over the head. But the ninja wasn't on this world and Fai found he was falling into more and more of his old habits.

"I'll keep that in mind." Barry rushed forward. He moved his arm up grab Fai and pull him away from the door. He wasn't intent on spilling blood just yet and he didn't care if he got hurt. There wasn't a way to kill him without getting rid of his powers so he wasn't concerned.

What would surprise him though, is when the motion didn't have quite the reaction he had expected.

Fai tried to block the other with his arm. It succeeded but when he went to pull his arm away once he was grabbed he found that Barry had a surprisingly good grip. "Let go or I'll cut your hand off!" Fai really didn't want to go to that measure but he would if Barry refused to listen.

"I'm not holding onto you." Though it would have been hard to tell since his fingers were pressed into Fai's skin at his waist.

Having just arrived, Barry had no idea that curses like this could happen, but even he had the sense to know Fai couldn't have wanted this outcome so it wasn't the vampire's doing.

Fai's eye widened slightly. This couldn't be..would this place really be that cruel? Fai moved quickly away from the door only to find that Barry was still attached.

"We're stuck..it must be a trick of this place." That's bad. That was very bad.

Barry's body jerked along with Fai's as he moved. Forget finding Johnny this was not normal.

"What do you mean trick?"

"Curses..tricks..everyone calls them something a little different. But this world has the ability to mess with you. Make you do things you normally wouldn't..or make you stick to another person." Fai just hoped he wasn't going to be stuck to Barry for a week.

Barry frowned a little though the look looked completely unnatural on his face.

"How long does this last?"

He didn't want to be stuck to Fai for long. He had other things to take care of and someone else he'd much rather be stuck to.

"Usually they last a week.." Yeah, that wasn't exactly good news to him either. "But it can vary. We might only be stuck together for a day..or a few hours. We won't know until it wears off."

Hmm...well that was troublesome wasn't it. Johnny wouldn't be happy to see them like this, but then again...A horribly wonderful thought crossed Barry's mind and he was soon grinning like the cat that caught the canary.

"Fai?" He spoke the other's name to get his attention before moving forward to press his lips against the blond vampire's own.

Fai froze when those lips met his. What was Barry doing!? He flailed and tried to push the man off but obviously it was useless, all that got him was his hands now stuck to Barry's chest where he had tried to push off.

His back slammed back against the wall from the effort of trying to get apart and he was pinned there in his panic.

Johnny had barely left his room when the scent hit him and the sound of a bang came from Fai's room, sending him into a panic. He closed his own door and secured it, keeping Sola locked in and burst into the other vampire's room.

What he saw made him freeze...before the heat from his anger thawed him out and he darted forward. "Get away from him!" Threading his arms between the two of them, he pushed a forearm against Barry while his other arm wrapped around Fai's hip in an effort to push the other vampire behind him--except no one moved.

He didn't move, Barry didn't move and Fai didn't move...and after a moment of struggling against the incubus, and a bit of math to figure out what day it was, the realization sent a rock into his stomach.

"You've got to be fucking kidding me." Of all the weeks to have curses, and this kind of curse on top of it? His warm feelings towards Vatheon were quickly cooling at the moment.

Barry was highly amused. He didn't try to deepen this kiss which was a blessing in it's own right for Fai. Besides as tight lipped as Fai was and with the ways of the curse it might have been impossible anyway. The smile would have been impossible to hide as it was fully reflected in Barry's eyes even if it wasn't on his lips.

When Johnny burst into the room, had he not been stuck to Fai's lips he would have laughed at how amusing this all was. Especially the look on Johnny's face. Even more amusing was how useless Johnny's attempts to get them apart were. His eyes twinkled a bit as he looked over at Johnny. What were you planning on doing now big guy?

Fai was frozen in panic. Even if he wanted to move, he wasn't sure that he would have been able to. He was barely able to even comprehend that Johnny had burst into the room until he felt that arm go around his hips. He started to try and move or alert the other in some way but it was too late. Now they were truly stuck.

Fai finally resumed his struggles, His hands were already stuck to Barry's chest so he did his best to try and push with them. If nothing else, he had to at least get his mouth free. He couldn't be in this lip-lock for an entire week..which was what he feared was going to happen.

A small, frustrated, growl escaped the older vampire as he kept trying to push the demon and Fai apart as best he could. Although, he was trying to limit the pressure put on Fai; it wasn't him Johnny was angry at.

"You better hope this isn't a week-long thing, Barry, or I will rip you to pieces the second it's over."

Barry cast a glance in Johnny's direction and the smirk would have been impossible to miss even if it wasn't on his lips. He moved them a bit to test the bond and was just a little disappointed to find that he could move again. His arm was still stuck to Fai's side though and that wasn't likely to go anywhere any time soon.

"But Addy, I never thought you'd finally be jealous~."

Fai felt like he could finally breathe as Barry's lips become unhooked from his. He looked towards Johnny rather desperately. What were they going to do? No matter how hard he pulled his hands seemed to be permanently glued to Barry's chest.

"I didn't mean to let him in..I thought it was you." Fai looked terribly guilty as he stared at the other vampire.

Johnny shook his head, his eyes gentle when he looked at Fai. "Don't worry about it...he's very good at that." After all, Johnny himself had been tricked the same way, it could happen to anyone.

His gaze hardened as he looked at Barry. "Jealousy has nothing to do with it, I just can't stand by and let you hurt him."
