Many of the new arrivals in Vatheon are predictable. Confused, possibly frightened, humanoid, and very damp. This creature fit all of those things, but there was an obvious difference to her. She was a fifth thing: hungry, and a sixth: very scary-looking.

A strange monster stalks cautiously through Vatheon, her pristine white plate-like armored hide and hot pink flesh covered with fresh blood. She sheathes her extended blades, whipping some of that spilled blood onto the ground as she sniffs at the air. This wasn't the EGG facility. Did they step through another wormhole?

[Sera giggles, but still hesitates slightly, returning one blade to her arm but keeping the other out. Smalls steps close the distance between her and her comrades.]

How did he...but I thought you said he...

[This doesn't make sense, but Cielo wouldn't lie to her.]

It's complicated. Let's just say he [undied] came back, ja?

[Nuzzles for Sera too]

It was hard to believe, but it happened.

[SERPH DOESN'T REMEMBER THIS AT ALL DDD:

[This is all so strange, but yet familiar. She's been in the EGG before, of course. But she's also been here. Where is here?]

Came back...

[...Ohhh. She 'came back' too. Now she remembers.

The second blade clicks back in place within her arm, and before the boys know it, there's a pink Varna-demon hugging the both of them. If Sera had eyes right now, they'd be teary.]

[YES HUGS. Hugging is hard when your arms are your wings, but Cielo manages to sort of get his wings around both of the ice demons. If you didn't think demons could make cute and happy sounds, you would be wrong. Because those are sounds that he's making right now.]

[Well.

okay.

fine it's hugs time. Serph hugs both of them.

But Serph will be perfectly :| about it all. Or rather, :[ because it's like his demon is perpetually frowny. No cute and happy sounds from him, nope!!]

I came back. It wasn't a dream!

[No longer feeling in danger, Sera returns to her true form; the young girl they know and love. But she's sporting a new feature, and it's smack dab on her face -- just like Serph, she has a Water Crown atma on her cheek. It glows a feint blue after she reverts back.]

I'm in Vatheon again!

[And Cielo is absolutely thrilled to have her back in Vatheon! Now that Sera has returned, the bubble feels one step closer to feeling perfect. He also reverts and upon seeing the Atma on her cheek, he wants to ask if she and Serph were okay after his death.

Except he can't because that hasn't happened for her yet.]

[When Sera reverts, Serph reverts, too, and nods.]

We missed you.

[But the Atma on her cheek doesn't escape his notice. Same as his... He reaches for the tattoo on Sera's cheek, intending to brush the back of his fingers against it.]

When did you get this?

[And why...?]

[Sera brushes her cheek, briefly covering the Atma mark.]

I don't know exactly. [But she likes to think you gave it to her, Serph.]

[Cielo just shrugs.]

Don't ask me either.

[Argilla cried on Sera and then it just happened man he doesn't know.]

[Ah, well, in the end, it isn't important. Serph tilts his head.]

Are you hungry?

[The smell of blood is a little heady right now. There's no danger of him eating Sera, but it does make him more aware of his plans to hunt tonight.]

[Hungry? ...Oh. She looks down at the state of her uniform, stained with blood and gore from enemies slain. Varnani is fortunately sated for now.]

I'm not.

[But now she's starting to wonder how she's going to get her next 'special' meal here.]

[As happy as he is to see Sera again, Cielo does feel a bit sad that Sera has Atma now. But she never complained about it and has been using it to the best of her advantage. Cielo would really prefer if she didn't fight, but that's not his choice to make and she started out of necessity.]

Want to go back to the base?

[Cielo's already said what's on his mind so here is Serph, being a wallflower. You know how it is!]

[Sera covers her Atma with her hand for a moment, rubbing at it as if it had a texture, but it's a part of her. It's as smooth as the rest of her flesh.

She needed to get readjusted to life in Vatheon. A lot of things would be easier, but now there were added troubles as well.]
