A cat's the only cat who knows where it's at
Who: Zelos and whoever!
Where: Ordo 2 & 3
When: Today, all day
Style: Brackets
Status: Open to those who have a reason to be at casa de Zel.
[It's not unusual for Zelos to be seen puttering around Ordo at all hours. What is unusual is that this week, he's been displaying some... odd behaviors, even for him.
While the Chosen doesn't usually sleep, many times this week he can be caught sprawled out across the couch, the armchair, even in one strange case the bottom step of the staircase with his tail twitching slightly. As the week went on, he'd purposely plant himself in the way of certain people, going so far as to sit on a pile of Zelda's papers in a silent demand for attention.
He's also been cooking quite a lot of fish lately...
Granted this wouldn't be so strange if he had fully transformed into a cat. Of course, the bubble had only seen fit to give him the ears and a tail and therefore it's pretty ridiculous.
Today, being a day he has off from the host club, finds Zelos curled up against one of the big front windows in the morning and generally pestering people for most of the rest of the day, save for the thirty minute nap he takes in the basket of dryer-fresh-and-warm laundry (this seems to be a running gag in this household).
Perhaps he's taken the time to come pester you, fellow resident?]

Duke wanted to sit in that basket.
He's going to hop up and figure out where there is room now. ]

Yes goodspot. ]

He's totally still asleep, not his fault! That tail as a mind of its own!]

Zelos jumps up with a hiss, the laundry basket tumbling over and leaving them both in a massive pile of clothes.]

But fluttering, yes, oh yes. Fluttering and twitching with each careful tug he uses to pull on the mana. Lloyd's not really thinking about if he has an audience, or what said audience might think.]

Practicing, nya?
[Damnit this curse is annoying. Not that the thought makes him stop.]
no subject
Hey, that tickles!
[Or something close enough. It's weird feeling someone touch his mana like that.]
Yeah, I'm still trying to get the hang of this.
no subject
[Sorry man but flicking the wing like that just makes him want to chase it more. Zelos rolls off the sill onto the floor in a ridiculous heap, still pawing at the sparkling trail left by the coalesced mana.]
no subject
Not yet. Well, sort of. I tried flying once, but I couldn't even get off the ground.
[He ended up on his face, but he's not about to admit that.]
Kratos said he was going to teach me, though.
[He just... hasn't heard from Kratos yet.]
no subject
Oh yeah? Did he just say that or is he actually gonna do it?
[Bitter much? He might be projecting his deadbeat dad feels juuuust a little.]

Hey. You are?

[He doesn't take Wallace's hand. Honestly he's a little curious as to what this guy's deal is.]

I am just wondering what is it like to be like a cat?
no subject
Well I'm not really full-feline so I can't say much, but there's definitely more sleep involved than I'm used to.
Why do you ask?

Really, she would almost prefer it if he stayed as a cat. He never lets himself be this openly affectionate without an excuse otherwise. She doesn't vocalize as much, knowing that it would drive him off or embarrass him. Instead, she just lightly teases. It seems to be one of the only forms of communication they can manage, sometimes.]
I can't say I ever expected to have such a pushy cat in the house! Duke is far more well trained.
[Since she's not stopping with the scratches, it's obvious she doesn't mind at all.]
no subject
[He's well aware he's probably more of the house cat, but there's nothing else he can really think of to say. Zelda's fingers behind his ears are making his brain a little fuzzy, not to mention his tail flick lazily back and forth in an obvious display of contentment.
Maybe being a cat isn't so bad? He might even start purring.]
no subject
[She can't handle the purring. It's too hilariously cute to see a grown man making a purring sound, and she generally feels like she's taking advantage of Duke if she tries to evoke it from him. It's way too easy to get him to behave strangely, and she's never sure how much he understands when it comes to social interactions.
Zelos, though? No shame. If he doesn't like something he'll just tell her or make it clear with his body language. He's definitely expressive!]
no subject
Totally rotten~ Who's fault is that?
[He flattens out his ears in a pleased fashion, tail twitching lazily back and forth in a methodical rhythm as he turns his face a bit into Zelda's hand, brushing his cheek against her fingers.
Seems like the thing to do.]
no subject
I have been told that I tend to coddle. I suppose I only have myself to blame.
1/2
[Even that statement sounds like a purr as Zelos takes the bait and redeposits himself with his head against her knees, but not before he brushes his cheek ever so slightly but deliberately against Zelda's cheek on his way down...]

The hell did he just do?!]
