006 - The Name of Life
Who: Dhaos and you!
Where: the park
When: Wednesday afternoon to evening
Style: starting with [ ], can switch to prose
Status: open
[If anyone were to wander the park today, they might glimpse a rather unusual sight.
Many worlds tell tale of the creature known as the unicorn. They tell of its majesty and purity; a being that is the symbol of innocence. It seems that the cures has deigned to transform a certain individual into one...from the waist down. Yessir, Dhaos' torso seems to be growing out of the neck of a white horse. The only tip-offs to his status as a unicorn are the rather lion-like tail, cloven hooves, and the fairly small (but quite pointy, as the shirt he had ruined in a failed attempt to put some sort of clothing on would attest) horn sprouting from his forehead.
He appears to be playing with some assorted wildlife at the moment. Bother him?]

[No, wait, that's Dhaos. Well, never mind, there's a... rather large red bird setting down near him anyway, tilting its bright red head.]
[That is a very big beak.]
Dhaos? Are you having fun being a horse?
[And yup, that's Link's voice coming from the very big beak...]
no subject
...A horse? Is that what you call unicorns in your world?
[Yep, guess who's planet doesn't have horses?]
no subject
[Hmm. Looking closer.] But their tail and hooves are different. And they don't have horns!
no subject
So they are pegasai
what even is the plural of pegasuswith four legs instead of eight?[His world is also a rather bizarre hodge-podge of Norse mythology, mmhm. What they call pegasai, we would call "Sleiphnir."]

[Which is why he's very glad the coral seemed to have provided him with the knowledge of how to walk properly like this, because he's large enough in this body that he knows he could cause himself serious injury if he tripped.]
no subject
[He pauses, remembering just whose body he was in for that second lot of flying.] Um, I hope your body was still okay when you got it back! Ghirahim didn't eat or sleep in mine, so I was really hungry and tired afterwards...
no subject
Can I speak with you for a moment?

[Dhaos doesn't bat an eye at Ky's new...additions, but is still a little wary. After all, he does remember how terrified the other man was of him before, and what if... What if that was how he truly felt, even with his memories back in proper order? It wouldn't be unjustified, considering that Ky knew some of what he had done before coming to Vatheon, but...]

Thank you for helping me when you found me.
I know you did what you thought was right.
[Even if Ky would rather not have been brought to Zelda's.]
no subject
Zelda would have been rather cross with me had I not brought you to her after setting your arm.
...How is it doing, by the way?
no subject
It's healing still, I hope.

...
...Is that Dhaos?]
Dhaos?!
[Don't mind her staring a little.]
no subject
[Yep, he's just going to continue on as if nothing strange is going on here. And considering that last month he was Ghirahim for a week, this seems more normal than being a living sword.]
no subject
[Rodi, stop staring at him.]
...And you?
[Why are you acting like this is completely normal. Rodi's last stay here was too short for her to get used to things like this.]
no subject
[And apparently the innate healing properties of unicorns somehow cured the illness he had come down with the previous week, so he really can't complain.]
no subject
Well, that's good I guess.
no subject
Ah...?
no subject
Your little friend sure looks annoyed.
no subject
[He doesn't tend to keep nuts in his inventory really. Why do they always seem to think he's holding out on them?]
no subject
In that case we have to look for some nuts for him.
