Foxy Selphie!

When: All week looong!
Where: You'll probably find her in the park, around some trees somewhere, the forest, or rummaging at the back of a cafe?
Style: Starting prose, but I'm happy with any!
Status: Open~

Admittedly, it was a little bit weird at first when Selphie woke up. There was something fluffy and warm beside her, and it was only when she cuddled it properly that she realised it was a tail! Not only that, but it belonged to her. Weird as it was, Selphie warmed to it quite quickly - this was definitely one of the better curses. Getting dressed was interesting though, because she struggled to get into a dress with that tail. Eventually, she managed with a skirt.

So Selphie's now sporting two red ears, a huge fluffy tail, and her nails are long black claws. Yup, she's definitely enjoying her new foxy look!

Throughout the week, you might find Selphie slinking around trees and bushes, on the island or in the bubble, looking like she's up to no good, like maybe she's hunting something, especially as the days draw darker.

At night, Selphie's taken to visiting cafes, but she seems to have a bit of a thing for rifling through the trash with those long black nailclaws of hers.

Whatever you catch her up to, she looks cheeky and sly, moving with a grace that Selphie usually just doesn't have.

"I must say, I do like the new look." Wallace was checking her out as he walked along past the shops and buildings. What made her change her image? Perhaps she had a costume she wanted to show people? "What made you pick a fox? Is it because you are foxy in nature?" He teased.

Selphie, where she might usually jump in surprise, instead stops still and turns slowly towards Wallace. There's a slight smirk on her face, even if she does look like she's blushing softly. "Actually, Wallace, it's a curse!" She gave a big swish of her tail, "I just woke up like this!"

I'm not familiar with these curses so I may want some info :D

His expression became serious. "A curse? But how? I thought Vatheon was a safe paradise. That nothing bad could happen, not a curse for sure." He studied her foxy tail and ears. "Did it...hurt turning into this?"

They happen every 2 weeks! Look at the ooc comm and there's an update every week!

Selphie blushed at that, especially considering that their first encounter had been because of a curse."The curses happen pretty much every couple of weeks. You're lucky if you haven't been hit yet! But they're not all bad!" She swished her tail again, "Nope! I just woke up like this! Cool, huh?"

"It does? Then it is something I need to know just in case I get struck with one." He wasn't sure if he wanted to look like an animal. Selphie didn't seem to mind though. "I do think you look rather cute, Selphie."

"Right! Like today!" She smiled at him, but she glanced away for a moment, thinking about the fact that Wallace was unaware of curses. But she soon looked at him again, her ears twitching slightly, "Oh! Thanks!"

"You're welcome." He gave her a smile as he went to touch her tail. "It looks soft and I couldn't resist."

Selphie gasped and gave a sudden jump as he touched her tail. It was a surprise, but she smiled, a little sheepishly, "That's okay..." After all, it had felt quite nice.

"How does it feel to be a fox? It must be different." He liked the feel of her soft fur and wondered how long this curse would last for.

"It's kinda fun!" Selphie giggled and cuddled her large fluffy tail to her, stroking the fur slightly. "Different, but fun!"

"Oh? It looks fun. Sort of fluffy." He smirked.

Selphie grinned then moved her tail in front of her, lifting the tip to tickle beneath his chin, "Nice, right?!"

Wallace laughed softly. "Oh yes, it's very soft."

This may be the cutest kitten you've ever seen, but it was giving anyone approaching him a heated scowl. Aya did not enjoy being this way. It was quite embarrassing.

He spotted the new Selphie skulking about and followed her quietly. At least he didn't have to try hard to be invisible.

Selphie's nex fox ears twitched, and she was sure that she could hear something. She tried not to let it show, but continued to walk more quietly. But she stopped suddenly again, thinking she was hearing something, and began to turn back towards the kitty.

[Aya pauses, but doesn't bother with hiding. In truth, being like this, he's already in hiding. He tilts up his head up at Selphie, wondering if she would notice anything different about him.]

[Doubtful, though.]

*Selphie looks down at the kitty, then gracefully crouches down to peer at the kitty, eye to eye*

Hey, little kitty! Whatcha doing?

[formerabyssinian]

[He's pretty sure that he doesn't want anyone knowing that he's a kitten now. There isn't a choice.]

[He'll have to act as a cat.]

[Luckily, he can't talk in this state, so he mewls in response to her question.]

*With one swift, but careful, swoop of her hand, Selphie scoops the kitty up into her hands, careful not to let her new long claws hurt the thing*

Hey cutie pie, are ya hungry?

[Aya fidgets in her hands, because this is awkward and embarrassing.]

Aww... you're so sweet!

*Selphie holds the kitty closer and kisses it brightly on its tiny little nose*

[After the kiss his tries to crinkle his nose, but knowing this situation so far, it may look pretty cute. Instinctually, he gave a shake of his head afterward. Aya never wants to be a cat again. It's too...embarrassing.]

*All of that is pretty cute, and Selphie breaks out into a huge smile. There's no way she's letting go of this kitty now, and she huggles it close to her chest*

We're gonna be best friends, kitty! I'll have to think of a name for you..

[If he struggled more, he would probably either lose the battle, or hurt Selphie. Not wanting to chance the latter, Aya just...gives up. He looks displeased at being cuddled so closely, if only because having all this fur is uncomfortable. How do cat stand it?]

[He looks up at her when she mentions naming him. What could she possibly come up with...]
