☽ Delivery

Characters: troll Break and antitroll Minato
Location: BREAK'S HOUSE/APARTMENT PLACE
Time: Afternoon
Style: First
Status: Closed!

[So Minato has been very busy with everything, sure. He's been sending out messages to defense force members and what have you--

But he still takes some time to go to the store and pick up a bag of small hard candies of various flavors with crinkly wrappers in happy pastel colors. Some even have smilie faces on them. :)

And then he wanders over to where he knows Break stays (don't ask how) and. Knocks.

Knock. Knock. Knock.]

[ because nice people are the most selfish human beings on earth. they're nice because they either want something from you— your approval, your admiration, your thanks, your jealousy, your pity...or they're just nice for themselves! it makes them feel good at the end of the day, priding in being better than the average human being.

minato do you really put up with gourmet king for his Problems don't fuck with us we know you just want that ultimate persona ok—

also you're doing a real good job detering his cynical ways here, he's getting even more cynical by the minute i mean are you reading these internal thoughts help...... ]

Wonderful! I'm glad we could finally meet personally, to be quite honest— otherwise I never would've noticed!

[ he isn't even waiting, he's already opened that bag of candy and is popping one into his mouth as he hold open the door— but only for the slightest moment, since he stops holding it as soon as minato takes a step forward, leaving him to do the rest himself as he makes his way over to the sofa. ]

[ BREAK DOES A LOT OF THINKING OKAY— and douches are fascinating minato i honestly don't know what to say i think you're a lost cause tbh...

and he'll just spin on his heel and immediately lean back into his couch— not very mannerly, but you should've expected this by now.

another piece of candy, another set of words through his own crunching— ]

You've one of those things Miss Yukari has— [ a single red eye narrows as he stares directly at minato. ]

—Although you've quite a few of them, don't you? [ another crunch. ]

[ to be honest, he had expected a reaction of this type from minato— abnormal and/or irritating, but because he had expected the probability of a reaction like this, it was far less irritating. yes, this is why he was interested in minato in the first place— because he wouldn't act like your average joe. at least he knows what they're called now!! yukari was a lot more sensitive about it than minato. minato was very blunt, but not in the same way as break— he doubted minato would ever openly insult someone. ]

Why do you have so many, Mister Minato? [ as he says it, he casually pats the back of the sofa in the space beside him where his arm is already draped over— an empty space, and therefore an invitation to sit down. ]

Is that so? Did you ever try to find out, Mister Minato? Or did you simply accept it?

[ and then there was the fact that yukari shared a similar trait with him, albeit in a condensed number— a single "one", that is. ]

A few of your friends have the same thing, but not like you. They're all very boring...ah! [ he interrupts his own line of conversation as though he'd just remembered something— ] Except for Mister Scarf! He's the other oddity. I haven't seen him around lately, though. I do wonder how he's been.

[ conveniently avoiding how ryoji was an anomaly by swaying the conversation to his health— primarily because he couldn't explain it himself at this point, except that he had a strange, deathly aura about him; the other reason being if you about something as though you know quite a lot about it, chances are the other person will return the favor. information exchange manipulation tips 101™ ]

[ r u kidding me. it's a short moment, but during that moment he only slightly tears a single red eye from his candy and shoots minato a look of genuine annoyance; you'd have to be an observant individual to catch it though, since he returns to his candy almost immediately after. ]

Let's discuss this in two's, shall we? There's odd and there's normal, and then there's a coin— at the "face" value of the coin lies our normal persona, whereas the oddity lies beneath. You do realize that these two sides are of the same coin, no? I'd prefer it if you would discuss people with me in the same manner, rather than that ignorant outlook of yours.

It's very interesting how you give me an answer based upon appearances alone, and then manage such a lovely analogy about all the different angles of a person— you really do like to play dumb, don't you?

[ opening another wrapper right about now— ]

Although, Mister Minato, I never claimed people were nothing more than an outer and an inner, so please pay attention. Let's not overcomplicate things, shall we? I'm simply curious about Mister Scarf's predominant inner, not the little facets he's composed of. It's akin to your "Persona" side, you see; you're a special case, considering you have many of them, but again— let's not focus on that. Let's talk in two's.

[ it's not like break can easily figure out minato a n y w a y. he pops that piece of candy in his mouth. ]
