[ Kohaku hadn't been doing well at all. She'd taken several hits in the span of a short time, and had now been reduced to an eerily quiet, barely responsive person. She didn't want to do anything but lay around (on the couch now, more than anywhere else ... she couldn't stay in the room she had shared with Shing anymore. it hurt too much) and wallow in her own self-pity ... and yes, when she did really think about it, she knew that was exactly what she was doing. She couldn't bring herself to really care about what she was doing, though.

So, she stayed on that couch. Sometimes sitting, sometimes laying down. Always quiet.

There were bags under her eyes from the lack of sleep she had gotten ... every time she tried to sleep, she always awoke from nightmares. It was also pretty obvious she hadn't been eating as much as she should have ... though Rin had been doing a good job of making her eat anyway.

She was a mess. She really needed help. ]


( ooc: Okay, here's what's going down. I'm going to make separate threads for everyone who has offered to come in and watch the poor girl. If you are among the individual threads and want to thread out their respective shift with Kohaku, feel free, but if you don't think you want to, then that's fine, too. It'll be there regardless of whether or not you want to thread anything out. c: The log was made because there was some interest in one, so it's here if you want it.

And again, I know, it's RP, it's pretendy funtimes, but I want to thank everyone who offered to help Kohaku out, as her mun. Corny or not, it really does mean a lot to me that my muse here has so many amazing people to help her out when she needs it. ♥ )

[ She and Shing are ... special. Your mileage may vary with love and relationships, really. Her relationship with Shing is pretty atypical from most couples, for the most part.

She doesn't react too much; she only looks up at Bianca and gives her the confirmation that she is listening, even if she doesn't really feel much like being a social butterfly at the moment. ]

[The fact that Kohaku was listening was enough for Bianca]

Since I'm going to be a professor, I'm doing all that I can to learn all the pokemon here in Vatheon! Right now, I only have my six pokemon here! I think you'll like Musharna, how about it?

[And then she take out her pokeball]

[ She has no idea what a Musharna is, but she'll nod politely and sit back, waiting for whatever Bianca wanted to do next. ]

[Hi, Kohaku, have a pink and purple floating thing in the middle of the room]

This is Musharna, she's one the longest pokemons that I had with me! Isn't she cute?

[brb tackle hugging her pokemon]

[ No, it's okay, she'll just sit back and watch you hug it. Meanwhile, she'll just stare at it. It looked kinda funny ... weirdly cute, though. ]

Oh right, I forgot! If you do hug her, you have to be careful! Sometimes her dream mist can make you fall asleep! So that's a good way to know if she's being playful or not!

[Meanwhile, her pokemon looks at Bianca and then back at Kohaku before giving a wave]

If you ever want to pet her, let me know! She's really friendly so she doesn't mind it one bit!

[ Sleep ... actual, restful sleep, without nightmares ... that might be a welcome thing at this point. But even with how obviously exhausted she is, she doesn't want to fall asleep while Bianca is visiting.

She is kind of curious as to how Musharna feels, though. So, slowly, she reaches a hand out to her. ]

[In which Musharna giggles a bit when Kohaku petted her.]

See? She's really soft and huggable so I feel really safe around her! [As she gives another hug, she looks back at Kohaku]

Maybe she should be your bodyguard for the day! I have a lot of other pokemons so what do you think? Do you want her to stay?

[ Kohaku wouldn't want her to leave her pokemon with her, but ... she is offering. and Musharna is pretty cute.

Still, she can only offer a shrug at that. ]

It's settled?

She'll stay with you for the rest of the day! [Hopefully it might make her happier...hopefully] She's really sweet so you don't have to worry about anything! If there is, you can just call me over the SFC!

[But her pokemon does give her a look as if saying 'you don't trust me?' Bianca just giggles in response]

I'm kidding!

[ Awww, you got a small smile out of her for that exchange.

... well, Bianca is trying really hard to make her feel better. ]

Can you understand her?

[ it gets her mind off of Shing for a while, at least. ]

[For a moment, Bianca stared at her before getting a hug]

Kohaku, you're talking!

And yes, I do! We have been together for so long that we can understand each other! We just know how the other will react so it's just natural after spending some time together!

[ rgjnrkgnrkn hug. hug hug hug what do. she slowly returns that hug, though it's kinda awkward. ]

I guess that makes sense ...

[Bianca notices it but she does let go. Don't make to make things too awkward for her!]

Maybe if you spend enough time with her, you can understand her too! Look!

[And now her pokemon decides to sit next to Kohaku as well.] She is really worried about you too!

[ aww ... she pets Musharna absentmindedly, looking toward Bianca. ]

Sorry ... I'm sorry I'm worrying you. I just- ...

[ just what? just can't function properly without her boyfriend around? that's kind of what was happening, right? when did she become so emotionally dependent on him? ]

[Bianca had a feeling she knew what the answer might be but she was going to let Kohaku finish her sentence]

You were just worried about Shing so it's okay. You said before that when you love someone a lot, you can't live without him. I don't know why Shing did that but I'm sure he'll come back soon! I just know it!

[ Oh, good, Bianca understood. She nods. ]

He said he would come back ... he promised me. So I'll wait for him. But it's really hard ...

Well, if he doesn't, I'll be sure to give Shing a piece of my mind! That's just mean and cruel when Kohaku is waiting for him and that's no way to treat someone you love!

Would you be able to find him?

I could ... but if he wants to be left alone, then I'll leave him alone for a while.

There's not much I can do if he wants to be by himself. I don't agree with what he did but, we'll just have to wait.

I just ... I want him to be happy. I just hope it's not too much to ask, after what we've been through recently.
