Lesson Four | Relaxing is important, too [Repost]
Who: Terra and Anyone
Where: The Park
When: August 5th
Style: Starting [Action], but I'll follow your lead
Warnings: ... just massive amounts of derp.
Status: Open
[Something is going on in the park today, it seems. Terra is out here, setting up what looks like... a very large board game. With blocks, dice, and... a sign?
Yep. A small sign has been placed in the ground, with what looks like a rule sheet for the very thing that Terra is setting up.
~*The Command Board*~
1. Up to three people can play at any time. There are no pieces for the players; you, the player, are the piece on the board.
2. The goal of the game is to gain a pre-set amount of points before your opponents and make it back to the starting point before they do.
3. Each player is initially given 1500 points. These points can be used to buy blocks on the board, which are then filled with 'commands'-- Attack, Magic, and Action
-Note; your opponents can use their points to buy a block you have already claimed for yourself, at an inflated price. You gain their points, but they gain your block and the command that is on it.
4.A star represents a bonus command. Buy the block, and you gain the command.
5. To move, roll one die. You move that many spaces on the board. You want to reach the red, blue, yellow, and green spaces, and then return to the start panel, before beginning another lap. Choose your moves carefully.
6. If an opponent lands on a block that you own, they pay the toll price on the block.
7. If you own two blocks side by side that have command panels of the same attack type (attack, magic, ect), then those two gain a small increase in their value.
8. If you own all blocks of one color, then all of those gain a bonus to their point value and toll.
... is this a mad man's version of Monopoly? Terra, what are you doing?]
[[OOC: Sorry about that, everyone who posted; mods told me to edit or take the original down. I figured it'd be easier to take it down and repost, so you didn't have to edit your own responses. ^^;
There will be prizes for the winners! :D]]

Ne, ne! Whatcha doing?
no subject
[Granted, it was a little different when they played back home.] I'm pretty sure I missed some of the rules, but it's easy to figure out once you catch on.
no subject
The game does looking really fun, but the rules are confusing....
no subject
... maybe it's better this way. Vanitas won't find out unless he actually stumbles across it.] Well... I can try to explain them, if you'd like.
no subject
Yeah, I wanna know more this game. Oh, my name is Yachiru Kusajishi. Nice to meet ya!
no subject
So he's just strolling through the park at a leisurely pace, thoughtfully eating one of those sea-salt icecreams that Roxas seems to enjoy so much, not really paying much attention to where he's going on what's in front of him until he very nearly gets bowled over by Terra moving one of the giant game blocks.
Luckily he manages to see it just in time and stumble back with a rather undignified yelp.]
OI! What the hell?! Watch where you're rollin' that-- ...
... that...
[Wait. What IS that? Is that... a giant board game piece?]
... whatever the hell it is--... what're you doin' anyway?
no subject
Don't mind Terra; your confusion amuses him a little, even if it's understandable.] I'm just setting up a game my friends and I used to play back home. If you'd like to join, I can explain the rules.
[Even though he put up a sign. Though the real question is, why.]
no subject
Weird idea, but okay. Why is a good question, but he's actually more curious about the game itself.
His tail sways behind his back, any irritation about being run over now gone.]
... okay. How's it work?
no subject
It's certainly not the strangest thing she's come across, but she's got an eyebrow raised nonetheless.]
It's a bit complicated, don't you think?
