[The last thing he had remembered was pain - pain and the voices of the members of SEES around him. Death was close, and Nyx was coming. She would bring her salvation to everyone.]

[He pulls himself across the ground, all the while getting sand and dirt inside of the wound. But he's experienced worse.]

[He nods. It's worth a shot.

As soon as he's close enough to the coral, he reaches out and wraps his fingers around a polyp. The bleeding begins to slow, and the bloodstained bullet falls out onto the ground.]

Wow...

[It feels nice. He's filled with warmth from head to toe. However, the need for rest starts to creep upon him. It's only the middle of the day and he feels great, so he's not sure what gives.]

[The camera angle isn't the best, but she catches the faint green glow that's familiar to her when Akihiko is healed. She hears the clink of the bullet falling to the ground as well, and there's a hopeful look in her eyes when she responds, after giving him a moment to take it in.]

Better?

Yeah.

[Much better. He's going to remember this if he gets into trouble again.]

I guess this thing really did bring us here if it can do stuff like that.

...Yeah. Well, it's something all right.

[Yukari looks relieved at the response, and feels like she doesn't have to rush quite so much now. But she isn't going to turn back now.]

But take it easy anyway. I'm almost there.

[He nods, maintaining the feed until she does so.

Ever since Shinji's death, it seems like everything in Vatheon is out to prove he isn't strong. But that doesn't mean he'll give up.]

[And Yukari definitely won't be encouraging him to.

A few minutes later after a fairly quiet trip, she spots him as she finally approaches the Coral. So she shuts the feed off and waves, panting a bit from the initial rush and worry.]

[Akihiko waves back when he spots her, then starts to attempt to push himself onto his knees in a crawling position.]

That was fast.

[tsundyne]

...I guess.

[She did say she was almost there, and it's not like they live too far away from here...

But anyway, she can see how he's trying get back on his feet after that, so she offers him a hand.]

You're still having trouble?

[Oh man, that's blood...]

I'll be fine.

[He uses his good leg to push up on while hanging onto a nearby streetpost, finally up off the ground. There's still pain, but he feels like he can make it to dorm at least.]

The coral made it a lot better.

[She gives him a nod, although her eyes scarcely move from the wound at first. The blood...

But finally, she glances up at his face.]
