Maybe you notice the princess staring too long at something, or maybe you notice the Sheikah scaling new heights to investigate those hard to reach places - but Zelda is definitely on the prowl for information now that the faeries are gone. She wisely avoids the ruins of the church, but nowhere else public seems to be beyond her interest. At least she doesn't break into people's houses like the other Hylian here in Vatheon.

"I see. My name is Zelda," she offered. "Is it alright to just call you 'Heavy'?"

She smiled when he mentioned Medic. "I know Medic a little. He was looking for someone to help paint something recently. I was going to get in contact with someone, but I think they're no longer in Vatheon..."

"Da, is fine. Would prefer you to call me Heavy anyway."

He noted the smile and returned it when she mentioned Medic. "You are friend of Doktor? Dis is good! And do not worry, will let him know about paint."

"Oh, I am not sure that we're friends just yet, but we are acquaintances, yes." Somehow, Zelda didn't think that Medic would appreciate her saying that she smiled when she thought of him because he liked the violin. She could be wrong of course, but better safe than sorry.

He laughed at that. "If Doktor and you have nice chat, might as well call yourself friends." Because either Medic liked you, or he didn't. And he didn't like many people.

Yeah just excuse her, she really gets going sometimes. XD

Well, they were friends, then. Zelda found herself wondering for a moment why Heavy and Medic both spoke with such strange accents - this city clearly had a translation spell of some sort, didn't it? Did they perceive themselves as foreigners in their daily lives, or did they habitually speak with an accent to conceal themselves? For what reason would the spell malfunction on them and not others?

"Then we are friends, I suppose! It was a pleasant talk." She smiled again at Heavy. "Would you like any help carrying all of that back? I don't mind. I could at least carry enough that you could see where you were going."

It's fine, Heavy doesn't talk much so someone has to. :B

What she doesn't know, is the spell works if you don't speak English. Both Heavy and Medic can speak English, but Heavy isn't too good at it. Still, he gets by. Plus, it's possible it doesn't effect accents, only language.

"Is good, then. Any friend of Doktor is friend of mine." he thinks about her question for a bit, then finally nods. "Da, could use help. Some of things are heavy, though. Will carry those self. Do not want you to get hurt." because some of that stuff is building material in those boxes.

"Very well then, I will take some of the lighter packages." Zelda waits for Heavy to indicate which ones those are, not wanting to upset his stack unnecessarily.

And indicate he shall! He points to a rather large stack of decent sized boxes, saying those are his. There's a decent sized stack of lighter packages, which she should carry with ease. "Do you think you can handle? If you want more or less, let me know."

"This will be fine." Zelda picked up the lighter packages. It's not as if she's out of shape or anything, she's just a very small person. "Shall we?"

Heavy knows not many people are as big and/or as him, so it's okay. "Da, let us go." and he proceeds to pick up his heavy packages. "Will show you base. Is not done yet, but should be okay."

"I promise to not compromise your base," she said, perhaps a little teasingly but mostly sounding sincere. And really, she did mean it. She understood the need for security, especially in a place like this.

"Da, I trust you. Medic is bit paranoid, so he would not be friends with you if did not trust you." and so, they are on there way, going past the stores and apartment complexes to the warehouse division. "Is close. Cannot miss base unless were blind."

And sure enough, about a block away, is this huge building with a sigh in front that reads "RED Base". Despite the name, the building itself is not yet fully painted. And while it's mostly done, there are a few unfinished finishing touches that are obvious, even from this far away.

How did I miss this?! orz...

"So this is what all that paint was about," she mused. "It is a nice place. Vatheon tends to get a little monochrome after awhile, doesn't it?"

Not that Zelda dislikes blue. It's one of her favorite colors, in fact! Too much of anything gets dull, though, and blue is no exception to the rule.

The exception is pink. You can never have too much.

She hefted her lighter bags over to one arm and moved to open the door for Heavy, provided it was not locked.

It's okay! We all make mistakes~

"Da, though blue makes team nervous. Is color of enemy. An entire city colored that way is...not so good." he thanked her as she held the door open for him, and proceeded to lead her into the storage room. Thankfully, it was motion sensitive, so he didn't have to drop his packages.

"Just put things on floor. Will put them away later."

The color of the enemy. Well, it made sense that someone called Heavy Weapons Guy would have enemies. She put the packages down carefully so as to not harm their contents.

"I hope you are more comfortable here, then."

Oh you have no idea, sister.

"Da, am very happy have place to call own with Medic. He is good friend...and probably would have...'flipped out' if he was not here." like go on a rampage.
