Who: Vriska & Anyone
Where: The lake
When: Afternoon, July 11th
Style: Action or prose, doesn't matter.
Status: Open!
Despite having been kicked out of her house with Feferi, Vriska didn't let this new reality dampen her efforts to ruin Eridan's week at the request of Darkleer. In fact she found it to have been the highlight of her week- just plain bullying brought a smile to her face. Of course it didn't warm her heart, but it was satisfying to see the seadwelling troll suffer for what he said about Lysunder. A part of her wondered if all of these pranks would be considered as her blackflirting with the fool and she hoped desperately not. Honestly, she just platonically hated the idiot and seeing him suffer was nice. There wasn't anything black about it.
That all aside Vriska had relocated herself up on the island in one of the abandoned houses, finding the mess and clutter inside reminiscent of her old hive before the game. After throwing her stuff in one of the rooms she left to head for the lake. The sun was still up in the sky, but the temperature was dropping as night approached and she found this to be the best time to be out. It was natural for highbloods to be more inclined towards cooler temperatures and Vriska was no exception. So when she felt like visiting the lake for a swim the cold water felt better to her than water heated by the midday sun. She pulled off her shirt and jeans, leaving her in only her skivvies before wading out into the water. Maybe she could catch a fish again like she did when she was stuck as a mermaid for a week. She was never one for seafood, but catching her food was rewarding enough to not completely steer her away from the idea.

It's a finely crafted, thick bracelet. The design is an intricate stylized spider, with thin webs on the bottom. Cerulean colored jewel-like things are placed here and there, mainly on the eyes for the creature and sprinkled across its back. Gently, he fiddles with its jaws and pulls out what appears to be a good lockpick before slipping it back in. Then, from the spinneret, he pulls out a wire of some sort.
"A lockpick and something to assist you into hacking into most computers, the bracelet itself being one as a matter of fact. Connect it, and a holographic screen should come up through the abdomen of the spider. I thought you would like it. Consider it my way of paying you back for the fine job you've done on Ampora." He doesn't quite chuckle, but his lips quirk upwards. "I've seen his complaints on the network."

When he finished she reached out for it, but not with the intention to snatch it away. No need to annoy an adult troll that could easily crush her head. "Wow, heh... This is pretty cool, not gonna lie! I'm sure I'll have a good use for it soon." She was smiling, although trying hard to make it look more like a smirk. "It wasn't a big deal, though. He deserved what he got."

"Big deal or not, I always pay back my favors. It is really the least I can do. I'm glad you like it."
no subject
"Yeah... Of course I do! You and Zahhak are pretty good about making useful things like this." She falls silent for a moment, worrying her lip with a fang.
"... He'll come back, you know. Ampora will eat his words and choke on them when he comes back."

At her finishing words, however, any positive feeling dies away and Darkleer has to look elsewhere. "I do not believe he will, Vriska," he says quietly. "Thank you for those kind wishes, however."
Because Eridan choking is totally a well wishing sort of thing.

She frowned at him at his change of mood. "He will! He'll come back and I'll be right, like I always am!" Her frown deepened as she suddenly moved closer to him to jab a finger at his chest. "I'll even bet on it!"
no subject
Still, he appreciates the attempt at reassurance especially coming from her of all trolls. "If it is a bet, then what should we wager?"

"Get you some proper clothes, maybe?"
no subject
"But sure, I'll agree to those terms. It's not like you'll win or anything so don't count on it!"
no subject
More than anything, he hopes she wins this bet, even if he knows it's a lost cause anyway. Sighing, he looks out onto the lake. "We'll see, then." This topic still hurts a bit too much. Time to change it. "Where have you been staying recently? I know most of the others here gathered together in groups to stay safe."
no subject
Moving to stand up she went over to a nearby rock where she had set her clothes earlier and pulled on her shirt. "I'm on my own now. I can protect myself just fine by myself."
no subject
"Well. If you're confident, and careful, I suppose I will believe you. Are you still staying in the apartments, or have you moved to the hive clusters? I am certain Gamzee would not mind a close by neighbor."

Hold on.
"I was under the impression that most of those hives were in a state of ruin, and rather poor for living in."

"May I see it, Vriska?"

She pulls on her jeans and shrugs a little. "Yeah sure, I guess. Just don't let anyone else know where I am now." Not that she expected anyone to really come and find her until they found out she was the one tormenting Eridan. Revenge would follow suit pretty quickly and she'd like it to not bother her at her hive.
She keeps the spear out still and starts walking off, presumably in the direction of her new 'hive', confident Darkleer would follow after her.

Getting up onto his feet and suddenly feeling even more tired, he nonetheless follows after. He is going to regret this and his wretched mouth.

Part of the roof was visibly gone and planks of wood and slabs of rock littered the front area of the house. To get inside she shoved aside some of the wood, dislodging something to keep the glass from falling on them when she opened the doorway. Nature had overtaken most of the inside of the house as well, but she didn't seem to mind that.
"It's kinda shitty, but I like it! I sleep over here..." She was already off in another room where a hammock was tied up in the corner with a few dirty pillows lay underneath.
