Who: Perrin and YOU!
When: Daytime
Where: In/Near The Plaza
Status: Open!
Style: I'll match
When he wasn't at work on the Winespring, Perrin was trying to spend most of his time near the plaza. It was that time again when new arrivals were showing up, and with three ta'veren here it was increasingly likely that someone might follow them through. It seemed irresponsible not to keep an eye out for dangers from their world that none here would know of.
Knowing his appearance could be a little intimidating, he left greeting the disoriented newcomers to others, but he kept his senses tuned to whoever did show up. Not that his hammer could do much against certain foes, like one of the Forsaken, but he could at least give warning. Light send none of them show their faces here, though.
In the meantime, the preparations the natives were making provided something with which to occupy himself. Although he didn't understand what it was about, it was clear they were planning some kind of festival, and there was no harm doing a little manual labor on that behalf.

He can't think of much water-related competition besides fishing and boating.

"You're right. It's at least worth a try."

"Hoping it's been long enough since your success to have another?" he jokes.

"I guess it has been a while, huh?" he chuckles. About six months, to be precise...

"You may not want to pin your hopes of winning on a fishing contest."

One of the very few things he knows how to cook.

"If it's ocean fishing, I don't think I'd make much account of myself either." It has to be quite a bit different from catching river trout with your hands. "But I'll wish you luck."

No sense worrying about it, though, so he brushes his hands off and gets Perrin a quick smile. "Good luck to you too, if you do it!"

Dusting off his own hands, he holds one out to the boy in introduction. "It's Perrin, by the way."

Yup. Looks like you have a new friend, Perrin.
