Childhood trauma
Who: Demyx & Zexion (Faris if he wants to join)
Where: Demyx's place
When: Afternoon, around the time Vani's floods show up
Style: I'll match.
Status: Closed
Once again a large shadowy portal opened into Demyx's living room and once again, Zexion exited from it, however this time, he wasn't injured in any way, unless you cared to mark old childhood traumas which had risen from their supposed grave to take hold of the man. The blue eyes carried a trace of the fright which had driven him to seek company so as to distract himself from the blue creatures which skittered about the plaza currently. He could only hope they'd be dealt with in short order and that no more would appear to take their place.
Closing the portal behind him, he allowed himself to fall into the recliner chair he saw and pulled his legs up against him into the seat, so as to wrap his arms around them. It was a foolish thing that he let something so small and likely just as weak as a shadow drive him into such a state, but as pathetic as it might seem, he couldn't help the fear which rose up when he'd first laid eyes on the creatures again.

But reluctance or not, he found himself behind the chair and after a moment's hesitation, he nudged it with his foot. "...Zexion?"

"Hello, Demyx. I hope you don't mind my visiting?"
no subject
"Mind you visiting? Nah. I like having you around. It's been kinda quiet 'round here lately so I've been jumping around here and Faris's." The musician paused, then reached down to prod at Zexion's shoulder. "You seem freaked. What happened?"
no subject
Hesitation, a couple seconds pause. "...of Ienzo's past... came to visit this place." The blue eyes closed for several seconds before opening again to look away into the distance off to one side. "An unpleasant piece.."

"Do you have any tea? I could make it for both of us." It would give him something else to focus on and allow him to collect his thoughts as he worked.

"I think I got some oreos too... People eat those with tea, right? Or is that coffee?"

When he actually located and entered the kitchen, he paused on the threshold and cast a look of disbelief back at Demyx. How in the world the blond got anything done in the disaster he was seeing, was beyond him. With a sigh, he discarded his coat onto the couch in the living room and rolling the sleeves of his shirt up, headed back into Demyx's kitchen.
"Tell your Dancer to get herself a clean towel, I'll wash these and she can dry them and put them away where they go."
Once the mountain of dishes had been dealt with, then the rest would be much simpler to clear away and then he would feel better about actually making tea in this room, and perhaps something more filling than cookies.

He didn't know, nor did he want to think about it. When the Dancer returned with a fresh towel, Demyx stood awkwardly in the threshold. "I'll, uh... I'll try to keep it under control next time."

He washed the counters, table and stove off and then set to checking what all Demyx had hidden within his cabinets and fridge.
